I have read that gaming is the new hard drug and that people already are being put in clinics to stop it...

I think it's bullshit...

What do you guys think?

People got to know what's wrong and right and learn how to control themselves as they grow up. Putting the blame on peer pressure, influence etc are just bullcrap. Ok, maybe you are influenced, but you have the final say.

Before I went to serve for the army (in Singapore its compulsory to serve 2years of army), people say that you will turn bad, going to visit hookers/prostitutes, pick up smoking and drinking etc ... But I left the army unscathe.

Its all down to the person himself~ If you bow down to pressure and influence, it just tell how weak you are mentally~

yeah we all sooner or later will leave our internet lifes, like im planning to cut down my gaming time and work harder to save money to buy a house and move in with my gf and all that stuff

but as for now, its quite true coz its addicting. but ive lessened my gaming time due to school now and also have that state known as the 'cant be stuffed' mode towards mmorpgs. weird. but i still play.

not exactly playing any online games recently ... been only watching some dramas online and play abit of football manager and chatting ... and maybe some studying/revising~ guess i'm growing up ^_^ lol ...

When T.V. came out everyone was like OMFG DRUG Stay away evil. Wait a couple years the craze will chill down and it will become as normal as T.V.
