I bought a psp, brand new. I was well pleased. Got it out of the packet, shoved in the demo umd, put in the date and time. And guess what that little prick did. It bricked... a brand new psp, bricked on me, the first time i fecking turned it on... im so seriously pissed off right now.. please, help me wallow in my pain.

Talk to Sony about it. Or, if you bought it from Best Buy and got the warranty, talk with them about it. They'll replace it.

i mean like, it switches on but the screen stays black. Its as useful and as fun as a brick..

Off topic :I had my psp since the first day it came out and I haven't had one problem the hole time.

On topic :Just go to the place you bought it and said it didn't work.

BTW!!!! Did you charge it when you got it? The battery needs to be charged before it can turn on

do you need to charge it all the way before you turn it on? because I didnt.. i just switched it on, it had a bit of battery left.

Chuck it through a window.

Return it as a defect.

Put it back in the box, return it, invest the money in an obscure company.

My PS3 bricked the day I got it. My PSP was fine.

Wow it just bricked up like that? Thats terrible dude. I've only heard of psp's bricking because people download trojan infested downgraders. Take it back asap.
