So, non-gamers should use linux? I mean if I have a shitty computer, do you recommend me I use linux instead of xp. I won't be gaming anytime soon.

my friend says linux is great, and he saw that u can install ubuntu linux on ps3 was estatic

Linux is not user freindly but if u know how to navigate it USE IT.

Anyway i dont use linux to answer the original question.

Yes, you're right.
But even if you know how to use it right, you will not be able to play games.
I wouldn't recommend anybody to use Linux if he also has Windows.
Windows is easier and you can use all you programs with it.

Good about Linux is that it's free, there are many free programs and it's much safer.

Tends to be much more stable than windows as well - Both GUI and CLI.

the only reason i use windows is to play games. if i could do that on linux with good performance, i'd format vista so fast
