Why couldn't the 58 year old fight back. He could beat a 17 year old and 2 10 year old shouldn't really be a problem. I was wondering if anyone could give me some logic on my question I will appreciate it.

Think about what he's gone through, if he even has much left to want to live for. It might not be that he wasnt physically tough enough to beat them to a pulp, it might have been that he just had no motivation, or that he didn't want to hurt ten year olds.

True true... For all we know if the homeless man tried to hurt the kids then the kids would pretend that the homeless man was trying to assault them. Dumb little assholes they deserve a worse punishment then what they got.

Thats still no reason to not fight back. The ten year olds should be taught a lesson. When you jump in and start attacking someone, you should be also be taught the consequences.

And if the little kids pretend that the homeless guy was trying to assault him. There should be witnesses on the streets. THe homeless man could easily have gotten away with self defense.

There was a 17 teen year old there too, if he retaliated, he could have gotten killed.
