well if you guys have noticed, i haven't been on for a while.. i've been grounded because grades and RL are screwing me up the rear end.

well i've been getting my internet back on a couple times, and i've tried to go on MS after re-dling the new client, but it keeps getting stuck on "3/3: Creating: GameGuard.des"

i don't know how to fix it.. and i want to fix it because i might be back on soon, my grades look better and i'm pretty sure my parents might let me get it back.

thanks for all your help guys... sorry if i'm inactive on any of your bls =(

it's not stuck... it just takes a freaking butt load of time to create that damn thing... if you really want to skip the whole updating part, just download the whole client again. since they've already implemented v.36 into the new .exe

hmm.. that's kinda odd.

buttload of time = 30 minutes +? i had that thing up there frozen for more than half an hour while i was downstairs watching tv.

and this already is the new client.. i think? i just downloaded it off the site yesterday or the day before.. maybe .36 came out AFTER i dled it? i'll try re-dling the new client.

Does that have rly any thing to do with his problem with MS?
(Okay maybe it sorta is but if they were screwing him up then I bet he wouldn't want to talk about it)

i've tried... the manual patcher doesn't even start loading, it starts it off at "3/3 creating: something" and doesn't even ever load.

Maybe you don't have enough place on you're C: drive. Even if you install it on another drive/partition, the installer needs place on C: to depack and store temp files there.
You can also try to deactivate the virusscanner (you should have one) during the install process.

Same here it stops at "3/3 Creating: GameGuard.des'' even after i uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I even left it to load while i went to school and it still wouldn't load

PYRO! Havn't seen you in forever. When you got hacked I gave you 500k to get back on your feet then you got hacked again. D:

But anyway. I'd just say reinstall, and make sure you got nothing else running on your computer while you patch. Other programs running really slows it down(and possibly freezes it)
