How To Be SSS
A guide by Ikachan
Oh snap, the SSS virus is spreading!
Introduction
Research, research, interview, more research, experiment, and even more research. This method was repeated over and over just for this guide.
And so, without further ado, allow me to introduce the build that will make you
Super,
Strong, and most importantly,
Sexy.
As a Peasant
Your stats get reset anyway at Level 10, so as a Peasant just go full Str and choose a Sword or Claw as your weapon. The rumor about the HP bonus not getting reset and going full Vit as a Pesant has been proven false.
Skill wise I recommend 5 Run, 10 High Jump, 1 Palm Force, and 6 Meditate.
Palm Force whether it's at Level 1 or 5, will soon be overpowered by Fire Arrow quite quickly. Meditate on the other hand will still be useful even when your MP is over 800+. Going afk for 4-6 minutes will give you plenty of MP to start training again when you come back, *if* your Meditate is at 6.
Choosing Your Faction
At Level 40 you have a choice of choosing to side with the Force of Order or the Force of Chaos. This isn't necessarily a new "job" as some like to describe it. It's just a faction, nothing more. Your faction will decide what your 2nd job at Level 60 will be. Choosing a faction will also enable you to create a Guild. Until you decide on a faction, your Guild Status in your Stat Window will remain as "Neutral." Also, until you decide on a faction, you will not recieve your Force skills at Level 40 and 50. The Force skills are the same for any class of any faction.
Upon choosing a faction, your HP, MP, and MATK increase per level will be raised, and you will also start gaining DEF each level up as well.
Stats
Pure Int is highly suggested in building a mage
Dex vs Int
Int adds MP. Dex doesn't. You need MP. Don't start with the "you'll always be potting regardless of how large your mana pool is" argument. You
need the MP.
About Vit
Personally, I went full Int. I know a lot of people want a little bit of Vit to help with their defence. Personally, I don't think it's worth sacrificing your strength just to save a little money on potions. Besides, you have a skill called Defence Up already, isn't that enough?
I won't say it's "wrong" to add some Vit, but I won't recommend it either. I don't have enough experience with Vit to give an honest opinion. But so far I have no complaints about having only 3 Vit. If I can enter a dungeon with only 10 Large Red Potions in my inventory, and leave with 120, I think that's saying something.
Skills
I can't find any credible source that has the skill values per level, but I'll give a general overview of each skill instead.
Level 10 - Fan Master - Passive
This skill will increase your damage with a Fan passively, highly recommended.
Skill Quest: Carry special Beads given to you from Magician Instructor to the Sungai Wang Fishing Guide.
Level 12 - Flame Arrow - Active
Your first official "spell." It's not that great, but it's faster and
eventually will be stronger than Palm Force. Near the beginning you'll combo this with Palm Force, but after you get Frozen Land, Palm Force can go off the hotkey. This is your basic damager skill that you'll use in between skill delays. Leveling this will increase damage.
Skill Quest: Defeat 20 Mr. Lompats.
Level 17 - Frozen Land - Active
Hot damn. Now
this is one fantstic spell. Four bolts of ice sweep in from above, dealing weak damage individually but still pretty strong. The best thing about this skill is that you're not restricted to just 1 or 4 enemies. It can be anywhere from 1-4 enemies, and the 4 hits can be divided in anyway you like. It all depends on where you cast it and where the enemies are located. Leveling this will increase damage.
Skill Quest: Defeat 20 Kampung Eggies.
Level 21 - Sight Lost - Active
Wtf. This thing sucks. Supposedly this blinds enemies, just like how I Am Matas blind you, but if you're close enough the enemies will still target and follow you. Damage is worst than Palm Force, but faster. It
will work in PVP though, if you can manage to get in enough hits. When you get blinded, the entire screen goes black and you can't see anything but your own character. Leveling this will increase damage, and success chance of blinding the enemy.
Skill Quest: Defeat 20 Ah Doinks.
Level 25 - Knockback - Active
Wtf. This thing ROCKS. A real lifesaver. Upon activation you deal damage (roughly 75% of your Palm Force at Level 1) and send the enemy flying across the screen. Okay not literally flying, but you push them away far enough for you to escape. Great in combination with Fire Arrow and Frozen Land when fighting mobs bigger than 4. Doesn't work in PVP unfortunetly, but you can use it in training to push enemies into people and annoy/kill them. Leveling this will increase damage.
Skill Quest: Defeat 20 Bird Men.
Level 29 - Teleport - Active
Teleport a
random distance in-front of you (within a certain range.) Good evasive move, but because the distance is random it's hard to predict where exactly you'll end up, so try to keep away from Teleporting in-between enemies. Leveling this will increase the range of the distance you can move.
Skill Quest: Defeat 20 Belakang Marys.
Level 33 - Defence Up - Active
Raises the defence of all party members including yourself. They don't have to be in the same map as you, as long as they're in the party they get affected. Raises defence by 60% at maxed level. Does not stack with Warrior's Endure skill. Duration also increases with level.
Skill Quest: Defeat 20 Rosak Retrievers.
Level 37 - SP Change - Active/Passive
It takes a little bit of your MP and heals your HP. The ratio is 5:16, so at maxed level it takes 100 MP and heals 320 HP.
Makes sense since potions are restricted in PVP. But pretty useless outside of PVP.
Skill Quest: Defeat 20 Spider Men.
Level 40 - Spirit Force - Active
A skill that transforms you into a Soul Demon, which is essentially a buffed up version of Rage. Activating this will require a full Rage bar.
While you are under the Soul Demon state, you cannot use any skills, you can only melee. However, your attack is greatly increased.
Learning this skill will replace your previous Rage mode. This is a common Force skill that is available to all classes of all factions.
Skill Quest: Find and fill up Sealed Beads to 100%, and give to your Force leader.
Level 50 - Dragon Strike - Active
A buffed up version of Palm Force. When cast a dragon will appear and attack up to three enemies. The casting delay is horrible, but the skill itself is incredibly powerful. Leveling this will increase damage.
This is a common Force skill that is available to all classes of all factions.
Skill Quest: There are two parts to this quest. Purchase 100 Ayer Hitam scrolls and 100 Dried meats to give to the Wounded Worker, in exchange you will recieve a Gratitude Letter. Gather 50 Bandit's Tooth and 50 Lori Killer's Tongue for the Ayer Hitam Doctor to recieve a Gratitude Tag. Bring both items to your Force leader.
SSS Skill Builds
Contrary to popular belief, the 2nd job is
not at level 40, but actually level 60.
There are two different skill builds available for you to choose from. One specializes in PVM (Player VS Monster) and the other specializes in PVP (Player VS Player.)
I noticed in the past that as I changed and revised the build around, that they were only opinionated, and it really wasn't the "best."
The "best" really depends on the player itself, and although you aren't forced to follow this guide exactly (if at all,) I want to give you some sort of blueprint to help you.
And so, I bring to you the best of both worlds (in my opinion.)
If u intend to make a staff mage just change all the fan master & fire arrow to staff master and ice arrow

FAQs
Which build is better?
Depends on how much you enjoy PVP. If in your opinion it's worth sacrificing leveling speed for the ability to dominate against other players, then by all means go with the PVP build. If not, then don't, simple as that.
Although I should probably note that the PVP build will save you more money.
Which build did you go with?
PVM build. Although at the time when I hit Level 50, Dragon Strike still wasn't available so I got impatient and switched the order a bit. In the end it's the same build though.
Which faction did you go with?
Force of Order.
Why did you save some points on some levels?
Active skills increase their SP consumption after every 5th level. If you used that remaining point or two, you'd be doubling the SP consumption of the spell, for
only a small damage increase. It isn't worth the extra cost. By increasing it by intervals of 5, it's more tolerable. Buffs are an exception, as these spells you won't be casting every second.
Why do you level Flame Arrow to 5?
It's not that great of a skill, but you'll still use it even at higher levels. It's the best damage you can do in between casts of Frozen Land. It's kept at level 5 early because that's the best damage per MP ratio.
Why do max Flame Arrow in the end? (PVM)
It's raised later because you'll need the power boost as Magicians get significantly weaker compared to other classes at a higher level.
What's the approximate damage difference between a level 5 Arrow and a level 20 Arrow?
About twice the damage.
Is Defence Up really worth it?
It's a FANTASTIC party skill. People love it. Maxed level +60% Defence? Good stuff. It's not that great for the Magician him/herself though.
Does Defence Up stack with the Warrior's Endure skill?
Sadly no.
Why don't we even learn Spirit Force?
Usually I would say it doesn't matter what you learn, since the 1st point is free. And well, the same case still applies. The only problem is that Spirit Force will completely replace your old Rage mode. Personally, I think the old Rage is better for a Magician. The lack of skills really hurts you, even if your attack is boosted.
One thing I should point out about Spirit Force. When used against monsters your melee damage uses your Matk. However, in PVP, your melee damage uses your Atk. So, you'll be doing 1s to your opponents if you ever feel like "showing off."
Tell me about Dragon Strike?
It's a powerful skill that hits 3 targets and a nice addition to your skill combo. The skill is green if you joined the Force of Order, and red if you joined the Force of Chaos.
Why do you max SP Change? (PVP)
SP Change is one of those all or nothing spells. If you're going to survive in PVP matches, you'll need to heal, and
fast. 320 HP for 100 MP is the result of a maxed SP Change, and if you aim wisely, you will be unstoppable (at least until the opponent runs out of MP.)
Tips and Tricks
Don't be a penny pincher!
Although buying the Small Blue Potions are the best deal, don't bother with those afterawhile. Sooner than later you'll
need to restore your MP fast in training. And "fast" isn't standing around and hitting the pot 2 times just to cast 1 Frozen Lands. Go for the Large Blue Potions once your MP bar hits around 500. It's not
that much more expensive and the makes training a hell of a lot easier.
3-hit combo!
When facing large mobs of 4 or higher, sometimes it's hard to keep them all back while only depending on Frozen Land. When that happens a combination of Knockback, Flame Arrow, and Frozen Land works wonders. And, if all else fails, you still have Teleport as an escape route.
Get familiar with the land!
Frozen
Land is
arguably one of the best skills for training among all classes. (Keyword: arguably) The unique ability of the spell to divide the hits among 1 to 4 enemies is invaluable. It's important that you get used to the angle it comes from, and the target zone of the spell. This way, you'll be able to hit enemies just exactly the way you want it. Also, be careful not to hit enemies that belong to other players. This is hard to do with the range and height of Frozen Land, so accidents happen, but just don't be an ass.
Cheat in PVP!
Remember that SP Change can be used in PVP! Great stuff!
Get revenge outside of PVP!
Push enemies into other players with Knockback to teach them a lesson. Fun!
Demand Respect!
Remember, you are not a slave! Refuse to cast Defence Up to all those rude beggars! Teach them some manners!
