How To Be SSS
A guide by Chen
Yeah the title needs work, I know

Introduction
This is for the fellow Assassin who needs a little guidance on how to become Super, Strong, and most importantly, Sexy.
In other words, this is a build made specifically for the Claw Assassin, that (in my opinion) uses the skill points well. This always seems to worry people due to their sparse availability.
And now, without further ado...

Stats
There's always a big, heated, controversial debate going on somewhere on the internet about whether to pump Str or Dex as an Assassin. Which way is truly the best way? What does each do?
With the Malaysian server of Ghost Online being available to the public for only a short amount of time, and the lack of foreign language translators to be used to decipher outside sources, the best thing one can do is look at as many possible theories as he can, and decide for himself which is truly the best way.
After scouting various forums, fansites, and horribly translated foreign pages, I've categorized all the theories out there about Str vs Dex into three main ones, as many of them are very similar to each other:

Theory Number One
Str and Dex both raise an Assassin's damage equally. The only difference is that a point of Str will raise the Assassin's minimum and maximum damage range by a 3:1 ratio while Dex will do the complete opposite with a 1 ratio. However, in any case, the smallest possible range between a character's minimum and maximum damage is the difference of 3 points, which also explains why many Warriors (who often go full Str) have such an incredibly small damage range.

Theory Number Two
By adding a point of Str, you're adding a fixed amount calculated somehow to be balanced with your current level, to your damage. Generally speaking full Str Assassins will gain a noticeable damage boost in the beginning, but as time goes on they become overpowered by full Dex Assassins.
By adding a point of Dex on the other hand, you're increasing your damage with a multiplier instead of a fixed amount. Because of this percentage based multiplier, if the base damage was sucky to begin with, than the increase will suck as well. But if the base damage is incredibly high, the increase will be just as high. This is true in all multiplier scenarios.

Theory Number Three
Str and Dex in Ghost Online acts very similarly to Str and Luk in another MMORPG called Maplestory. Those familiar with the game will know that it's been proven Str Bandits are weaker than Luk Bandits, even though Str Bandits have a smaller damage range. The same applies to Ghost Online with full Str (Str Bandit) and full Dex Assassins (Luk Bandit.) If this is the case, then there's no reason whatsoever to go full Str, in terms of dealing damage at least.

And there you have it, three of the internet's most popular theories regarding Str and Dex for Assassins. Which theory is correct? Is it a combination? Is it none of these theories at all? I can't tell you. I'm merely supplying the facts, you're the one who has to make the decision. Personally though, if you ask me, I like the way Number Two works, it seems the most logical to me. But then again, this is just my own opinion.

Skills
The following information was obtained from Ghost Land. They may or may not be accurate.

Claw Master - A passive skill that increases your damage with any Claw-type weapon.
Available at Level 10
Level 1: 1% damage increase
Level 2: 2% damage increase
Level 3: 3% damage increase
Level 4: 4% damage increase
Level 5: 5% damage increase
Level 6: 6% damage increase
Level 7: 7% damage increase
Level 8: 8% damage increase
Level 9: 9% damage increase
Level 10: 10% damage increase
Level 11: 11% damage increase
Level 12: 12% damage increase
Level 13: 13% damage increase
Level 14: 14% damage increase
Level 15: 15% damage increase
Level 16: 16% damage increase
Level 17: 17% damage increase
Level 18: 18% damage increase
Level 19: 19% damage increase
Level 20: 20% damage increase
A must-have skill in my opinion. As I have stated before, since this is a multiplier, the damage boosts won't be noticeable in the beginning. However, later on in the game, as you get stronger, the skill will truly start to shine and give you a more significant boost.

Upper Cut - Here's the ironic thing, you actually attack downwards.
Available at Level 13
Level 1: SP 11, damage 110%
Level 2: SP 11, damage 120%
Level 3: SP 11, damage 130%
Level 4: SP 11, damage 140%
Level 5: SP 11, damage 150%
Level 6: SP 22, damage 170%
Level 7: SP 22, damage 180%
Level 8: SP 22, damage 190%
Level 9: SP 22, damage 200%
Level 10: SP 22, damage 210%
Level 11: SP 33, damage 230%
Level 12: SP 33, damage 240%
Level 13: SP 33, damage 250%
Level 14: SP 33, damage 260%
Level 15: SP 33, damage 270%
Level 16: SP 44, damage 290%
Level 17: SP 44, damage 300%
Level 18: SP 44, damage 310%
Level 19: SP 44, damage 320%
Level 20: SP 44, damage 330%
Bad skill, gets overpowered by Dash Strike, which is only 5 levels away. But still learn it anyway and pump it up to Level 5 since its useful in some scenarios.

Dash Strike - Chidori? :P
Available at Level 18
Level 1: SP 12, damage 110%
Level 2: SP 12, damage 120%
Level 3: SP 12, damage 130%
Level 4: SP 12, damage 140%
Level 5: SP 12, damage 150%
Level 6: SP 24, damage 170%
Level 7: SP 24, damage 180%
Level 8: SP 24, damage 190%
Level 9: SP 24, damage 200%
Level 10: SP 24, damage 210%
Level 11: SP 36, damage 230%
Level 12: SP 36, damage 240%
Level 13: SP 36, damage 250%
Level 14: SP 36, damage 260%
Level 15: SP 36, damage 270%
Level 16: SP 48, damage 290%
Level 17: SP 48, damage 300%
Level 18: SP 48, damage 310%
Level 19: SP 48, damage 320%
Level 20: SP 48, damage 330%
Your best (and only) mob control skill. Remember that the key feature that differenciates this and Upper Cut is the fact that Dash Strike hits three enemies. Great skill, max it. Bad thing is the long delay.

Envenom - So stereotypical.
Available at Level 23
Level 1: SP 19, 40% success rate
Level 2: SP 19, 42% success rate
Level 3: SP 19, 44% success rate
Level 4: SP 19, 46% success rate
Level 5: SP 19, 48% success rate
Level 6: SP 38, 50% success rate
Level 7: SP 38, 52% success rate
Level 8: SP 38, 54% success rate
Level 9: SP 38, 56% success rate
Level 10: SP 38, 58% success rate
Level 11: SP 57, 60% success rate
Level 12: SP 57, 62% success rate
Level 13: SP 57, 64% success rate
Level 14: SP 57, 66% success rate
Level 15: SP 57, 68% success rate
Level 16: SP 76, 70% success rate
Level 17: SP 76, 72% success rate
Level 18: SP 76, 74% success rate
Level 19: SP 76, 76% success rate
Level 20: SP 76, 78% success rate
This would be a phenomenal skill except for one thing, it lowers the exp you gain from the enemy. More on that later in the guide.

Detoxify - Free antidote!
Available at Level 28
Level 1: SP 25, 40% success rate
Level 2: SP 25, 42% success rate
Level 3: SP 25, 44% success rate
Level 4: SP 25, 46% success rate
Level 5: SP 25, 48% success rate
Level 6: SP 50, 50% success rate
Level 7: SP 50, 52% success rate
Level 8: SP 50, 54% success rate
Level 9: SP 50, 56% success rate
Level 10: SP 50, 58% success rate
Level 11: SP 75, 60% success rate
Level 12: SP 75, 62% success rate
Level 13: SP 75, 64% success rate
Level 14: SP 75, 66% success rate
Level 15: SP 75, 68% success rate
Level 16: SP 100, 70% success rate
Level 17: SP 100, 72% success rate
Level 18: SP 100, 74% success rate
Level 19: SP 100, 76% success rate
Level 20: SP 100, 78% success rate
There's really no need to put any points into this, but still learn it since it's nice to have as being poisoned is really annoying.

Invisibility - Ninja camouflage!
Available at Level 33
Level 1: SP 25, hidden for 23 seconds
Level 2: SP 25, hidden for 26 seconds
Level 3: SP 25, hidden for 29 seconds
Level 4: SP 25, hidden for 32 seconds
Level 5: SP 25, hidden for 35 seconds
Level 6: SP 50, hidden for 38 seconds
Level 7: SP 50, hidden for 41 seconds
Level 8: SP 50, hidden for 44 seconds
Level 9: SP 50, hidden for 47 seconds
Level 10: SP 50, hidden for 50 seconds
Level 11: SP 75, hidden for 53 seconds
Level 12: SP 75, hidden for 56 seconds
Level 13: SP 75, hidden for 59 seconds
Level 14: SP 75, hidden for 62 seconds
Level 15: SP 75, hidden for 65 seconds
Level 16: SP 100, hidden for 68 seconds
Level 17: SP 100, hidden for 71 seconds
Level 18: SP 100, hidden for 74 seconds
Level 19: SP 100, hidden for 77 seconds
Level 20: SP 100, hidden for 80 seconds
Cool effect, but Level 1 is really all you need. Great as an emergency escape when you're being gang banged. Like always, learn it but then leave it alone.

Mirror Image - ~Can't touch this na na na na, na na, na na~ (Increases dodging rate)
Available at Level 38
Level 1: 1% dodge increase, SP 24, lasts 35 seconds
Level 2: 2% dodge increase, SP 24, lasts 40 seconds
Level 3: 3% dodge increase, SP 24, lasts 45 seconds
Level 4: 4% dodge increase, SP 24, lasts 50 seconds
Level 5: 5% dodge increase, SP 24, lasts 55 seconds
Level 6: 6% dodge increase, SP 48, lasts 60 seconds
Level 7: 7% dodge increase, SP 48, lasts 65 seconds
Level 8: 8% dodge increase, SP 48, lasts 70 seconds
Level 9: 9% dodge increase, SP 48, lasts 75 seconds
Level 10: 10% dodge increase, SP 48, lasts 80 seconds
Level 11: 11% dodge increase, SP 72, lasts 85 seconds
Level 12: 12% dodge increase, SP 72, lasts 90 seconds

Level 16: 16% dodge increase, SP 96, lasts 110 seconds
Level 17: 17% dodge increase, SP 96, lasts 115 seconds
Level 18: 18% dodge increase, SP 96, lasts 120 seconds
Level 19: 19% dodge increase, SP 96, lasts 125 seconds
Level 20: 20% dodge increase, SP 96, lasts 130 seconds
Wonderful skill. My opinion is probably biased since I've always been fond of buffs, but I say pump it.

Spirit Force - SUPER SAIYAN
Available at Level 40
A skill that transforms you into a Soul Demon, which is essentially a buffed up version of Rage. Activating this will require a full Rage bar. Leveling this will increase power of the Soul Demon. This is a common Force skill that is available to all classes of all factions.

Dragon Strike - We need more creative names
Available at Level 50
A buffed up version of Palm Force. Faster, stronger, longer, and penetrates up to 3 monsters. Leveling this will increase damage. This is a common Force skill that is available to all classes of all factions.

SSS Skill Build
Now this is the actual build that I made and so far I have no complaints. The first column is the Level you should be on, followed by the actions you should take, and the number in the paranthesis is the number of points you should have in that skill right now. Remember that when you learn a skill, you automatically gain the first Level of it with it.

Level 10: Learn Claw Master (1)
Level 11: Raise Claw Master (3)
Level 12: Save both points
Level 13: Learn and Raise Upper Cut (5)
Level 14: Raise Claw Master (5)
Level 15: Raise Claw Master (7)
Level 16: Raise Claw Master (9)
Level 17: Save both points
Level 18: Learn and Raise Dash Strike (5)
Level 19: Raise Claw Master (11)
Level 20: Raise Claw Master (13)
Level 21: Raise Claw Master (15)
Level 22: Raise Claw Master (17)
Level 23: Raise Claw Master (19), Learn Envenom (1)
Level 24: Raise Claw Master (20), Save remaining point
Level 25: Save both points
Level 26: Raise Dash Strike (10)
Level 27: Save both points
Level 28: Save both points, Learn Detoxify (1)
Level 29: Raise Dash Strike (15), Save remaining point
Level 30: Save both points
Level 31: Raise Dash Strike (20)
Level 32: Save both points
Level 33: Save both points, Learn Invisibility (1)
Level 34: Save both points
Level 35: Save both points
Level 36: Save both points
Level 37: Save both points
Level 38: Learn and Raise Mirror Image (15)
Level 39: Raise Mirror Image (17)
Level 40: Raise Mirror Image (19)
Level 41: Raise Mirror Image (20), Save remaining point
Level 42: Save both points
Level 43: Save both points
Level 44: Save both points
Level 45: Save both points
Level 46: Save both points
Level 47: Save both points
Level 48: Save both points
Level 49: Save both points
Level 50: Learn and Raise Dragon Strike (20)
Level 51: Save both points
Level 52: Save both points
Level 53: Raise Upper Cut (10), Save remaining point
Level 54: Save both points
Level 55: Raise Upper Cut (15)
Level 56: Save both points
Level 57: Save both points
Level 58: Raise Upper Cut (20), Raise Envenom (2)
Level 59: Raise Envenom (4)
Level 60: Raise Envenom (5), Save Point (1)

And so to recap, in the end at Level 60 you have:
20 in Claw Master
20 in Upper Cut
20 in Dash Strike
5 in Envenom
1 in Detoxify
1 in Invisibility
20 in Mirror Image
0 in Spirit Force
20 in Dragon Strike

FAQs
Why the Upper Cut at all? Dash Strike makes it pretty useless.
-The delay in between attacks is pretty long, making you vulnerable to enemy attacks. If you can somehow perform fast attacks together for a continous chain, it gives you a significant advantage. By comboing your regular attacks with Uppercut, you can pull off that chain. You could also do it with Dash Strike, but 48 MP just for one enemy is going overboard.

But why only 5 in Upper Cut?
-At level 5, you get the most damage (150%) while still maintaining the lowest amount of SP (11.) 11 SP for a few hits isn't that bad, considering the purpose.

And why do you max Upper Cut in the end?
-Later on as enemies become much stronger, you'll need a power boost. The strong hits from Upper Cut will counter the higher defence from the enemies.

Why did you save some points on some levels?
-Active skills increase their SP consumption after every 5th level. If you used that remaining point or two, you'd be doubling the SP consumption of Dash Strike, for only a small damage increase. It isn't worth the extra cost. By increasing it by intervals of 5, it's more tolerable.

No Spirit Force?
-Actually, I'm still thinking about this. Personally, I think it's horrible, absolutely horrible. AND it replaces your previous Rage pernamently. It forces you to melee, which isn't a big deal since you're close-range anyway, but skills are disabled during it. I think a boosted Dash Strike and Upper Cut from the regular Rage is better than beefed up punches from Spirit Force.

Closure
And there you have it. I have taught you the ways of the SSS, you should be honored. Best of luck with your character and may prosperity cross paths with it. Remember to be kind to those around you and keep life fun. And most importantly take a 10 minute break for every 1 hour of play.

Questions, comments, and critiques are welcome as well as encouraged. See ya soon! =]

Whats better? Blade? Sword? Claw?

I belive Claw is faster and more cunning.
Blade perhaps is slow but deadly a swing with one will severly damage the enemy but with its slowness it can be avoided.
Sword is fast and stronger although with its speed it would not kill the monster quickly but would take many shot.

Anyways Nice guide, I was just hoping this was with the glove SSS guide.

the good thing about claw sin is there way stronger than glove sins in pvp

today i fought a claw sin and he did 400 dmg to be with 1 dash strike
where a glvoe sin only did 200-300 dmg with double shot

Lv20Glove+25, Lv20Glove+15, Lv20Armour+22 cost? im selling all of it for my Claw and im selling my armour for better one since im fighting up close..... cause some oen told me the +15 was 30k..... and i dont know who to beleive......

oh and when you say dex and vit do you mean 3 dex and 1 vit every level? i think i might just go all dex so i dont have to think hard....lol
