Not really. I'm in 8th grade and I see pot sales all around me. It started last year. Some kids got suspended for it, so it died down for a while, but came back this year, or at least to what I see. People find selling and buying pot as casual as selling or buying candy. They don't sweat it at all. I find it all pretty ridiculous.

a lot of kids do drugs....i know ppl who smoke and they are in the 8th grade

This isn't really a big deal. Half of the kids that go to DAEP (alternative school) are there for drugs(atleast in my district).

Though, I have no idea what the idea of this topic was. =\

Not that surprising. I know 12 year olds that sell all kids of drugs.
