1- Scion of Fate is one of the most played MMORPG in China. There's no doubt about it and they got it. It's not claim, but they have it. 2- 70millions PLAYER REGISTERED. Like I mentionned in my previous post. REGISTERED. Also, they didnt do wrong with "players world wide". They never said they are still playing, they just have that many player since it was created. WoW did the same thing but WoW has a smaller playerbase. 3- As for the award thing. I lost count at how many western game got the "best game award" EVERY year. 4- Asian has their "best", western has their "best' and korean/japan has their best. Each country has a "best game" award. Each kind, each genre or each style has their "best". English, japanese, chinese, korean, etc has their "best game". Then you go down to each KIND of player with each COMPANY and each community. 5- You already failed to give an argument when you stereotyped at that post.

...I could reply with a long and well thought out 3 paragraph post , ..but then that would just lead to another reply from you, fallowed by 15-20 pages of flames from random forum lurkers...anyways, I just found out a game called 'Fantasy westward Journey' is the #1 MMORPG in China ,fallowed by Zhengtu Online in the #2 spot. Zhengtu could be a cool MMORPG if an international version was released. http://www.gamebunny.com/?p=2195 |

Asian MMOs do all have millions of players. There's a ton more people playing these games in Asia than US/Europe. It's not just more people in general, it's also a larger percent of the population that plays games.
Most of the games suck when they get here due to crappy localizations, and coming out several years later. Retarded companies pick the games up like 5 years after they become popular in China, do a piss-poor localization job, then throw it at us expecting to make millions. |
