Back when FFXI was released for the pc, I played this game till i got to 23war/11monk, and then I quit (If I rember I believe it was frustration of leveling down). Then I got WoW, been playing it for like 6-7 months now and getting bored of it fast. The fights seem less uneventful and less intense then FFXI did. So I was wondering, is FFXI still have enough people to get in partys resonably fast. Is it still addicting? Does it hold its own against other MMOS? If it does have allot of people yet, which server has the most? Thanks in advance for your replys.

FFXI still has alot of players, also if your frustrated of lvling down don't level a job which tanks at lower lvls lvl a mage or something well not black mage cause they get alot of hate but i dunno something like a rdm or melee wise a drg etc etc but yeah just get to 37 if your gonna sub war so you don't need to lvl it ever again then get your new job or stick w/ war but w/ most people today you'd need to lvl nin to 37 which is expensive and thf to 37. thf is a good job for not dieing

Is the auction house still stable? I heard reports from a few people that with people buying gil online, prices have sky rocketed. This wasnt a problem when I played it in 2004 (although I struggled to get armor back then, but I managed with mining and the clock quest in bastok). Also is there still enough people to get into groups fairly fast. For that reason I would like to get on the most dense server possible.

It has very many players. Its extremely addicting. And I would play on Bismarck, best server ever <3.

back when i played on my 55sam/27war snipers rings were 350k each and i had 2

how much are they now, like average?

last i saw prices have fallen alot from inflation a haub used to be like 8mil they were 1.4mil last i checked

yea prices are alot lower now so it's hard to make money. i just bought around the 30mil on a site when started i wouldnt have money problems and could lvl fast ^^ but the money evantually is gone and you must start making money and that sux
