It's not going anywhere for a while, joining rates are higher than they've ever been. I'd give WoW 3-4 more years before it gets in major trouble, but I'm hoping that they do a graphical update much like Everquest -> Everquest 2 by then. While it does help, WoW can't run on artistic style forever.

EDIT: And for the record, as of today WoW is the best MMO.

the never ending honor,arena point,gear "ginds" will be this games' ultimate down fall and yes alot of good games are coming out like warhammer, age of conan, lotro, and a bunch more

well if they do a good job with the next expansion which will hopefully be in northrend then it could be alot better

Blizzard has the $$$ they will always find a way to suck players back in like me, but luckily my friend's are good enough and made me quit, Recently i unistalled the game hopefully i won't go back. It's a fun game but to feel accomplished you have to play all day i quit with a level 69 blood elf paladin.

WoW is everything other MMOs arent. Pets, Mounts, postal, quests that actually help,.

I would go back to WOW if it had player housing...but it doesn't...so I'm not going back.....there getting 15 $ a month from millions of players...they could at least add player housing.

u gotta think of the buisness side of things im sure Blizzard have many more expansions like the BC sitting on the book shelf goin dusty.

they could release expansion after expansion but y would u when the same amount of ppl are going to play while they're earning the same amount of money whith out spending it

so y not prolong that revenue an evry now an again release a revenue raiser (an expansion)

IMHO WoW is 1 of a kind an will always be the best of its kind
