Default 2d mmo

I need a 2d mmo that has a great community and people who actually talk and that will help out the noobs

I also dont mind a little grind but yeah i would rather do quests and suggestions?

well last time i played maple story ppl responded to me most of the time.....dont even bother with ghost online its like if everyone broke their keyboard or something and ummm i dont really know of much 2d mmorpgs so i cant help much

I recommend Dofus RPG (not Dofus Arena, although that is good too). Not only does it have a friendly community, but it's low grind and has plenty of quests, special dungeon adventures, and a superb harvesting/forging/selling system.

It's F2P with the ability to P2P in order to get the entire world and extras, but you can easily get up to level 40 and beyond without paying. And if you decide to P2P, it's one of the cheapest MMORPGs around.

i disagree(even though i like dofus) its really grindy at higher lvls i had a lvl 200 sacrier and that took me like 1year and a half.

Have u tried ultima online its pretty fast paced lots to it top down view. lots skill to the pvp u dont have to grind couse its based on skill gaining. use uogateway.com for servers 3k+ people play on them some people mean to newbies some will help u out. just pm me if u try it, ill help u.

Actually the first adventurer to reach 200 was Rambo and that was 10 days ago (read the article on the main site @ www.dofus.com). Perhaps you are thinking of a different game?

Also he is the only one @ 200 (You can see the ladder on the main site as well that lists all players and their levels http://ladder.dofus.com/ranking/?lang=en).
