Bob also reset twice going from short swords to katanas and back to short swords. :P

Should you get Ancient Memory: Not really. You already get outstanding magic helping buffs as an asura, you don't need to spend the extra sp.

Why do some asuras use blunt weapons?: Why do some asuras use katanas, why do a small few use big swords? Just because they can, nothing is stopping you from using a weapon type that you want.

If you max awakening does that make it longer: Like other awakenings that cause a transformed state, yes, they get longer and stronger.

Is Divine Wave worth maxing?: Assuming this is that spinning cut move. Don't max it, level 5 and it's cancel is good enough. It doesn't do that great of damage and likes to be rather inaccurate (Stucks a lot), take it for it's grab like tentancies, invincibility frames and a skill that might save you from dangerous situations.

Some asuras used clubs because most of them give/gave levels to asura skills (and way back in the day they used to stun), but now it's a rarity because short swords have been given increasing amounts of asura skill modifications

Levelling the awakening doesnt make it longer, it's capped at 40 seconds

I dunno what anyone else thinks but I find the spin cut cancel very useful for Large Sword weaponmasters. It seems you can "grab" as long as your alternate attack (the big slash) hits, even if at the tip. This is from observation though. My large sword WM has SP issues so I can't verify.

Big Sword and Blunt type weapons are only for Asuras who PVP. The hitstun when you hit people with those type of weapons is far greater than short sword or katanas non existant hitstun. Half of the Asuras I see in the x-zone rank are big sword, and theres a blunt Asura on Siroco who has a +13 cyclops bash and 2300ish attack and magic attack and various insane gear.

Big Sword Weapon Masters get cancel spinning wave thing, and cancel triple slash, to extend their pokes out of the alternate combo.

Thx for the info.
But divine wave isnt the spinning cut, the asura slams his sword on the ground and the enemy is trapped in a electric bubble that does light damage, well not sure if u guys seen it cuz its a lvl 40 asura move so wen i get to that lvl ill take a pic of it.

It's true.


And blunt weapons are super annoying Makes me go bouncy bouncy... why not just use a big sword and end the freaking combo, doing the same damage but taking half the time. Oh well, lol :P

The highest ranked pvper is by far an asura. Hehe, he uses a katana though.

Asuras, unlike WMs and berserkers, don't have as many options to lift their opponents off the ground, all they have is their stock GK upper slash and that liberation aoe every 10 seconds.

They usually either rely heavily on that electric zapping wave or those buddha balls (I don't know what to call it), because of their high damage compared to other 20/40 second timer skills, and most of all, absolutely no way for the opponent to retaliate if they get hit by it, incase they have superarmor or something. Just don't miss!
