Hey dby2k, I have a question. Should I max out Critical Back Attack for my Launcher or no?

W T F -.- What type of launcher are you and are you sure you're gonna have spare SP for that in the first place? I'd rather pump my launcher skills and some cross class for balance, and if I still have SP, I'd go for physical critical instead.
If it's pure PvE just scrap the idea though and chug Sharpeyes. 25k damage per charged laser rifle is fun.

Well my Weaponmaster is close to awakening and I was wondering...is autoguard useful for a Large Sword Weaponmaster? PvP wise it's somewhat useful but I wanna know how it is on the whole. Can it autoguard from the reverse side as well?
My weaponmaster focuses mainly on high damage (more than 30k damage on bosses my level using lvl 45 skill and cheap equips) and thus, is slow... very slow compared to other WMs. So I was thinking of getting autoguard to help during the period when my superarmor skills are cooling down or even for general boss rushing purposes, with autoguard to make me last a little longer.
If I were to pump autoguard, what level is the best to pump it to. I was thinking level 6 (30% chance).
How is this skill compared to guard cancel overall as well.

Autoguard is worthless for maps and thats the bottom line, especially on bosses. I dunno why you think getting it to level 6 vs maxing it would be viable either. As for comparing it to guard cancel........... thats absolutely uncomparable. Guard Cancel is for PVP mindgames, Autoguard is to guard against random hits without touching the guard key or command.

Does Autoguard work while executing attacks or skills then? If it does I think it's worth it for a Large Sword WM since our superarmor animation lasts very long while we are hitting mobs/boss and during that period we just keep taking damage.
Well if it doesn't work during execution of attacks/skills then I'll scrap it altogether and pump more into my percentage damage skills.
Dunno what anyone else thinks but Weaponmaster upper level skills are excellent for Large Sword users.

I've noticed in the past some Large Sword WMs were able to do the 5 hit triple slash. So if I were to pump 1 level into lightsaber or blade mastery, will I be able to execute the same 5-hit triple slash with my Large Sword? Or was this nerfed?

It works in exactly the same manner reverse back attack does, if you want an example. If you want it for maps you'll be wasting every point you put into it, but thats up to you.

And yes big sword is widely accepted as better than lightsword or any other weapon type for weapon master. Almost all of the specifics for big sword are PVP based so not building one centered around PVP is kind of a waste.

I've never known how to do the triple slash or 30 skill bug with big swords/other weapons but I'm under the impression it no longer works.
