Hell's Party is not the same as a same old hellmode.

Regular *** hellmode is fighting the devil as usual and hopefully getting good loot.

Hell's Party is when tough APCs come out to fight you after you've beaten the devil.

If hell mode is activated via manually or by accident ("THE HELL AWAKEN"), there will be a room on the mini map with a purple boss icon as opposed to a red one. In there theres a capsule with a devil in it, break it open, devil comes out.

THERES ALWAYS A DEVIL.

Either do what Fael says or have a full party of level 60s and go devil hunting.

1.finish quest to unlock it by obtaining a boss drop from each non quest unlocked boss in the area with the hell quest active
2.when done trade either devil invites or devil requests to the female priest and then you can activate it, to my knownledge everyone in the party needs one.

Well I haven't answered this question in a while. To start you need to get the quests from Grandis, the priest npc to get the souls from bosses in respective areas. Sky Castle, Behemoth and Underfoot. After you do those you can trade invites or challenges to Grandis to get an item that allows you to activate hellmode (which would be a skull icon in the lower right corner of the map selection screen)

Looks like someone is messing around with the DnF Wiki Mage page. There was a bunch of stupid links to places, and now there's just nothing there.
