There's nothing running. The game was working fine before the maintanence. I click the start button and it asks me if I want to run "DNF Installer". DnFLogInAgent.exe is running in the processes, but nothing else happens.

The page refreshes and the launcher window is nowhere to be found.

I think I'm just going to have to reinstall everything...

Speaking of which, how do you uninstall DnF? There doesn't seem to be an uninstaller. Do I just delete the folder? That's going to be pretty messy.

the DnF Installer needs to run because that apparently is used to download some files not included in the update. I got that too when I clicked the game start button for the first time after the maintenance was over. I just let it download (first file was 185kb and second one was 752kb i believe) until it finished and the launch window popped up.

as for uninstalling the game...not sure~ not at my laptop atm but i will get back to you when I do. (unless you fix it by then)

Yeah I downloaded those two files as well, but afterwards nothing happened. I've left it running about 30 minutes with no changes. I'm sure it has something to do with Vista because it starts up just fine on my WinXP desktop, but I can't figure out what it is. I've ticked off the Run As Administrator and compatability with Windows XP SP2 boxes but still no luck.

apparently they redid the ActiveX control file for the DnF launcher. Not at my computer so I cannot test it but...try downloading the activex again. Maybe that will work.

Edit: Okay, apparently you are not the only one who has trouble logging in. The Q&A section on the main website is full of threads of people complaining and saying that they cannot log in (mostly Vista users)
Wait for the staff to fix it I guess...until then I am powerless to help you.

i was talking about this lil cute creature who is on my righ

no she is not a player with a cashshop item,because you can talk to her,but nothing more.and i noticed her already in two locations

i think she is an event npc but does she do anything??besides a pop up msg that is

ah lol thats not a npc. that is one of the special items you get when you purchase the wedding avatar package. You get this feather-icon item that lets you post a message for the whole community on that channel to see. Basically its a confession of love to someone and that is how it appears. Apparently in order to reply or post something of your own on that "board", you need your own feather item.

Well I finally got it working. I had to disable the UAC in Vista, which is totally a first for me. Thanks for your help though Asiankid0.

Who do I have to talk to get a guild invite?

you should add Helena~, Biker-Bikes, NRK, Thasoi, and Flooring. Biker, Flooring and Helena~ are online right now. PM either Biker or Flooring for invite. See you soon.

ah~ ok didn't know about that. the video and the update information is too vague for me to understand fully whether event items drop or not.
