Yes there is a difference. Because summoning mystical ping pong balls and bashing stuff up with your weapon are awfully similar. The two playstyles are widely different from each other.

Physical = Get in your face and beat the crap out of you with room filling skills that all have super armor property and having nice armor to boot making them durable.

Magic = Running around setting up ping pongs and other talisman while using lightning ball, lightning talisman, and Cutting Darkness to keep them away. Faster than Physicals because of cloth they are squishy and get killed pretty fast if you're not careful.

Hybrid = Don't know and don't care. You won't have enough sp to even consider this and honestly I would rather have 1 path of strong skills than having too many skills that are all low in level and just a waste to use.

Unhappy need help some sort of weird error
So i made an account, dled the game, went the site and tried to log on.

I just got some wierd error when i pushed the log in button.
