all of a sudden my game doesnt work im getting the dam 'the publisher could not be verified. are you sure you want to run this software' error monent i get to server choice wtf i cant get past it i want to friggin play god help meh!

It's a new incompatibility issue that vista has with DnF. (New in a sense... but 7z.exe has given a lot of vista users headaches before just in a different way this time.) A lot of users are having the same problem you are including me but someone posted a fix on korean dnf forums that didn't work for me but might work for you.

Step 1.

Download an updated 7z.exe from here:
http://cid-37d40f3e16f74c4a.skydrive....Public/7z.exe

Download it to your desktop.

Step 2.

Right click on the 7z.exe and go to properties. Then at the very bottom of in the "General" tab there is a "Security" section which has an "Unblock" button that you should click on and then apply and exit.

Step 3.

You will have to be able to view hidden folders to do this step so go to Windows Explorer, click on the "Organize" button near top left of the panel, then "Folder and search options". Then in the "View" tab check a bubble that says "Show hidden files or folders".

Now you need to go to this folder directory :
C drive(or watever your root drive is) -> Users -> Your computer users name -> AppData -> LocalLow -> DNF

and put the 7z.exe you downloaded on your desktop in this folder and test to see if the game works.

Hope this helps... although it didn't work for me I wanna play ... I just bought an avatar set yesterday for the first time and I can't use it...booooooooooo.


EDIT:

Ok found a temp fix that works for me... in that folder C:\Users\UserName\AppData\LocalLow\DNF delete 7z.exe AFTER the launcher checks your files and loads the game, and BEFORE you see the channel select screen. I only had to do it once to make my DnF work all the time now but I heard others had to do it everytime they started the game. Super hassle but its a temp fix until they fix the problem.
