Server will be down for a 12hours maintenance, from 3am ~ 3pm korean time: http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_KR.aspx

Delays could be expected.

hmm, so the game goes into 12 hour maintenance mode in 2 1/2 hours. thats very interesting.
DFO is suppose to end maintenance for their retrubution patch at the same time (10 hour patch) so i wonder if either Nexon Korea or Nexon America will drop the ball (with an extra 10 hour extention or something)

Either way, i cant wait, and good luck getting on after the patch everyone, itta be hectic.

And has anyone tried copying the files form the test server and add it to DNF folder, when it came to big patches like this, and will it make the patching time faster? thanks in advance

I have done that in the past before, you will still need to dl alot of things despite the fact that you think what they have on tserver is final release...which is totally not the case.
Sure music and some minor sound files will be fine to copy from tserver to main server folder, but mostly alot of the sprites will still be redownloaded(kinda lazy to explain why...)

but anyway, up to you if u wanna go ahead and do that...


and I think kdnf will get a longer extension delay then dfo...since dfo's update isn't big at all -.- (tiny as fu*k sh*t really...)

well, it's big in the eyes of Nexon America (this is a group that took 18 hours for channel crash maintenance, which actually caused more problems) so who knows. I actually expect their patch to take 24 hours, but we will see

But yea, i sort of figured that copying the files over would not do much, mostly because the test server is just that, a test, so script would be changed, avatars/sprites on moves, effects, items, other additions, as well at anything that was removed from the Tservers. just wanted to make sure beforehand

For the lvl 40 character we get, should I make a necro or launcher? Both seem pretty cool.

necro has a really good crowd control in pve and pvp,is overpowered and debated as one of the most powerfull classes in the game,while the launcher is good in pvp oriented events - he is not that good in pve,cos a launcher acts more like a suport class.Youl be stuck partying in no time


my thoughts may differ from other players but i would go with a necro

If Necromancers are overpowered, then you may be better off making a level 40 Launcher. Might as well give that jump start to the weaker class, no?
(This is assuming you want both characters.)

If we really do get a free level 40 and you want more than one character, then some logical options are...
1) Choose the class that normally requires a party to advance (Female Spitfire/Mechanic, Crusader).
2) Choose the class that's most difficult to level.

Question: If you delete a character, can you reuse that character's name?
(I'm sure you can tell where I'm going with this. xP)
