For berserker quest: do you need to beat the zombie king on certain difficulty?

and does anyone have suggestion for berserker skills? and the skills that are just "not worth it".

thx in advance

Thanks. That's got to be one of the worst level 30 skills I've seen.
Far from it, seeing as you can't even use your 40 skill which does 1000% damage at level 1 unless you're in it. Also if you max it, you'll be able to run incredibly long while invincible, which would be amazing for PVP. Also run really damn fast. The bad news is soul bringers have very limited SP. I always build my characters to PVP.

I don't PVP, but even if I did, it seems silly that you don't even feel a noticeable difference in a skill you acquire at level 30 until after you're level 60 and after you've spent 300 skill points in it. But you're right; this is totally a PVP class, much to my disappointment.

Yes. I told them to make suplex not hit me, which in turn makes Street Fighters useless, because their best move is suplex. It also lets me see movement perfectly, as if I'm not lagging! I don't even know how they managed to do it!!!

But yes, if you expect every single skill you get to be some kind of insanely useful piece of magic, then I don't think you understand the point of skillsets. Its a supportive buff, which helps you a lot more than you're giving credit (even at the prereq needed of level 4, it gives 4% more move speed, which is almost as much as a shoe avatar or pair of equipment shoes) and also lets you use one of your best skills. Even when you don't level it past the prereqs for other skills, its really useful.

Firstly, you're right. It being a prerequisite makes it worth the point investment. But the fact that you need to buy a skill in order to use other, better skills doesn't in turn make it useful.

Secondly, I didn't say I expected every single skill to be some kind of insanely useful piece of magic. Ideally, I would expect every single skill to have around the same amount of potential but with different roles, as to not defeat the purpose of customizable skill sets. The more incentive players have to buy every skill as a whole, the more variety there is between them.

I agree that this skill has its uses. But not at level 30 (when it should, as an active skill). I could see it being noticeably powerful at level 50+, but only in PVP. As someone who never PVP's, investing skill points into something so marginal would be acceptable to me from a passive skill, not from a self buff that lasts seemingly 15 seconds. Self buffs that only last 15 seconds, especially ones you acquire at level 30+, should pack a punch; they shouldn't be LESS effective than an individual piece of avatar gear. I just expected something that would make me struggle a little less in PVE that didn't cause me to spend 10 clear cubes a run like the frost aura.

Soul Bringer definately isn't the class for you then. Theyre packed full of skills that do minimal effects unless you max them. Not even their level 35 skills do anything thats going to help you defeat enemies much faster or easier. Heck, not even their 45 skill is going to help you defeat enemies much easier.

You might want a class where almost every single skill can do huge damage, like a berserker (when its not a skill that can do big damage, its a buff to make you do more), or an asura (every skill can do high damage, even at level 1) or an elemental master (huge damage off every spell).

Theres a ton of active buffs in DnF. If you did PVP, you'd see how unbalanced a skill that gives you a constant 4% move speed and .8 seconds of invisibility when you run is. Soul Bringers buff themselves, allies, and cause a lot of indirect damage. You're expecting too much from a class that used to be one of the two only support classes.

Thats one of the main selling points of DnF. It does have the same potential as different skills, with a different role. The end.

Boy, you people best stop being stingy with them cubes.

Please recycle folks. Roton will love you for it.

Vitamin: I haven't seen a berserker skill that ISN'T used.
