*shrugs* Sorry about that.
The "perks" of living in China. This site gets blocked every time I view it (though I have no idea why), so I really don't have any real method of knowing if I posted once, twice, or even three times. Whatever. Couldn't care less that I got reported though. However, if you do a search on google, this is basically IT, in terms of information. There's nothing else, no guides, no nada. You guys had (have? he's still posting here so..) a nice chance to move over to a forum which could at least be organized better and split into various categories. Doing so would vastly help what population of DnF players there are. Of course, that idea was met with a crazy bit of unreasonable animosity, and I'm just calling out on that. In any case, does anyone know the details on how SP are obtained? It seems to me that they just come up naturally along the way, not by levelling like in most games. Does that mean that there would essentially be an unlimited amount of SP available to you, just dependent on how long you grinded for? |

I can safely say triple posting dosn't help the problem.
Consider this, would you rather this thread not exist? Or would you rather have this thread exist? Its really a no brainer. Also for all of you who like to whine and complain at everyones contributions to help the community, our IRC channel will be starting a wiki most likely, but then again I'm sure that won't be good enough for some people, I'm really ashamed of what this thread is becoming, so it really kills my interest in making it, seeing as all the new players who started awhile ago know what they're doing now, and currently most of the new players just like to say, "THIS ISNT GOOD ENOUGH GUYS!" SP comes from normal exp, theres a limited amount of SP. Next time ask questions first, complain never. And Dreakon, please stop acting like you tried to save this thread, when you have done absolutely nothing to contribute to translating or discovering ingame help for other players. We got it already, you're so good because you tried to make a new better improved AMAZING forum, and we're all lame because we have a 65 page long thread and denied this amazing forum, that topic is long done. Hey guys, if you want to start a forum, knock yourself out. I just have no real interest in doing such, if you're going to use information from here, give credit where credit is due. As I said before, I prefer a wiki, which will be easy to add information to.
As for questions asked so far. Transferring things to another character. You know your spawn point? Your house with that female NPC in it? Look on your right, you should see some thing with a hole in it with a bunch of weapons next to it. Use that. This is your mail box. The first tab is basically your inbox, more than likely, it's empty, this isn't what you need go to the 2nd tab. Don't let all the Korean panic you, this is pretty easy. In that long box, type in the name of the character, type it CORRECTLY now, case sensitive and all, and drag over the items you want to transfer into the little boxes. Make sure you have 1000g to send and then click the confirm button (it's on the left, yes is always to the left of no!) Regarding SP: You can only get so much during one level. Say you're like, level 15, you can only get maybe 62 SP for that level (just a guess, I'm giving an example). However, it does roll over. For example, you didn't get all the SP you could for level 15 (say you only got half, 31 SP) and you made it to level 16 and you have 60 more SP available to you. You can now get a total of 91 SP. Get it? If that looks like mumbled incoherent garbage it's because I'm tired. But that's the jist of it. Last edited by THK; 08-11-2006 at 09:58 PM. |

As I said, China blocks this site (god knows why) after like... 2 views. 2 views gets me as far as viewing this last page, and maybe after that, the reply button. Then, of course, reply button sends me to Cannot connect to server, ultimately leaving me in limbo as to whether or not I actually sent the damn thing.
And hey, a wiki would be great. Probably much better than a forum. I'm playing on the Japanese DnF currently, and while I'm not Japanese, I can get the gist of most of the quests, moves and stuffs. There's a lot I'm hazy on, but meh. Anyways... On the SP subject, is this determined, or assumed (i.e. does it say so on their website)? The jap one is still technically in beta testing, so 90% of the stuff related to game play isn't even on there. |

SP SHOULD be exactly the same there, even if its in beta, but theres a small offchance that it could be different, seeing as I've never played the japanese version, but thats a real small chance.
