erm i meant an armor +18 i.e. "the greatest shiny leather armor of awsomeness +18". is that possible or is +10 the highest? so far the highest lvl of a weapon i have seen is lvl 50, is there any higher ones?

Oh, that means how much it's been upgraded.

There's also a video of a General with a +18 musket going around. He just blows away mobs by normal shooting and with elemental buff he just deals over 10k damage for the final shot animation.
It's a full length video of him clearing Underfoot Entrance -King's Road.
Anyone got the video and can upload it please?
I only have a poor quality version.

finally managed to get dnf to work D;~
had to clear a whole ton of space in my c: drive just for the installer x);;;~

the magician looks fun *u* anyone recommend a skill build to me?

The highest upgrade level on armors & weapons is +20

no one is leet enough for that, there as a hacker on the jp version who grinded and failed +20 weapons, A LOT OF THEM..., i was like how the hell do u aim for +21...

Yeah, I can't say I've ever personally seen anything +19 or +20, and I've only seen +18 on rare occasions

Pre-mage or one of the 4 available job classes?
Well since you just started I guess pre-mage then.
For pre-mage I usually get the battlemage skills [the throwing up skill -uppercut or whatever with cancel and the stab skill] and maybe the palm push later on.
Just ignore magic library. Hodor is good to have too, since it's pretty strong for it's level for pre-mage. Well these are kinda the primary ones I pump. For the remaining skills I pump either magic missile or some of the elementalist skills[like flourescent or lantern fire with aerial], though I prefer spamming magic missile. My weapon of choice for pre-mage... preferably something like a pike or pole to stab mobs with
