1) Most people tend to enjoy Ice/Dark, and its the most common one used currently. Its your choice, but a lot of people generally hate Light (I also agree), but some people found no trouble in it.
2) If you think that the medium skills are not worth it and that you wont use them, then you should just keep it to 5 for the pre-reqs. Also, there is nothing wrong with maxing the low level skills, most Ice/Dark build generally love to max frosthead.
3) I'd personally max it. But if you think it has no potential, then I suggest leaving it as your last option.

1) I'm more a fan of fire, but yeah Ice/Dark won't do you wrong.

2) You'd really max what is most useful to you. I happen to like the mid tier spells.

3) I'm weary about maxing anything awakening.

Yeah, after doing Episode 19, it's available as a white quest from GSD.

May I ask why you enjoy fire?
I am not totally sure what is useful since I haven't been to the high level range yet. That is why I am asking for advices.
Can you explain why you max the passive awakening and not some other comparable skills?

No that aint the gbl medal quest. And u need 5 hardening black material or smth which can be bought or obtained durin hyper jammer quest if ur unlucky.

u know the funny thing is, i got exactly 5 hardening black material not 1 more or less lol. plus, since now im done with it, i got the GBL quest. SO this is the starter for GBL quest after finishing up ep 19.
