Introduction:
When beginning a new character, a New world, possibly just starting Maple story, Assassin is the farthest job from your mind. Perhaps you studied a bit, and noticed the price of stars ridiculously high, claws, and equipment. The truth is, None of this matters. You can still easily become an Assassin, with few cons. Pros and Cons: Pros: -Your able to enjoy the Assassin Advancement -You can successfully become an assassin without being downgraded Cons: -Your damage will be weakened determined by your specific build Build Level 10: One on Lucky Seven Level 11: Three on Nimble Body Level 12: Three on Keen Eyes Level 13: Three on Keen Eyes Level 14: Two on Keen Eyes ( MAXED ), One on Lucky Seven Level 15: Three on Lucky Seven Level 16: Three on Lucky Seven Level 17: Three on Lucky Seven Level 18: Three on Lucky Seven Level 19: Three on Lucky Seven Level 20: Three on Lucky Seven ( MAXED ) Level 21: Three on dis order Level 22: Three on Dark Sight Level 23: Three on Dark Sight Level 24: Three on Dark Sight Level 25: One on Dark Sight [ Complete ] Two on Nimble Body Level 26: Three on Nimble Body Level 27: Three on Nimble Body Level 28: Three on Nimble Body Level 29: Three on Nimble Body Level 30: Three on Nimble Body ( MAXED ) This is the build you would follow, Unless you would become a SinDit. You may be wondering, Wouldn't it be more effective, If we had first began to master Lucky Seven. Yes if you were funded, But no since you are not. Throughout most of your levels you wont be using Lucky seven anyways. Training Locations: Level 1-10: Maple Island Green Snails Level 10-12: Hennessey's Hunting Ground First Floor Blue/Red Snails Level 12-15: Orange Mushrooms at Construction Site, left of Kerning City. Level 16-20: Slime Tree Located in Ellina During the above levels, You will only use ONE star to train, Using lucky seven will result in a major drop in Mesos and will only result in you quitting you character. The following Levels, Can be gained using Lucky Seven. Level 21-25: Stirges Located in Kerning City Subway Level 26-30: Stirges or Zombie Mushrooms or Kerning City PQ Why Stirges? They drop Blue potions constantly, And sometimes orange. So you will gain exp and potions. Armour: Level 1-20: From one to Twenty, You will continue to wear your level 10 armour. Level 20-40: You can wear your pao set, and Wear a Pilfer or some sort of helm The above Combinations will save you lots of cash, But it isn't necessary. Weapons: Level 1-10: Your Maple Island weapon Level 10-25: Garnier Level 25-35 or Beyond: Meba A garnier will not decrease your damage noticeably. You would only do around 20-40 damage less depending on your level. Introduction: Congratulations, your now an assassin. I will introduce you too the class. Now you get a few decent skills. You get haste, which is your best friend. You get drain, which will save you tons of mesos. You now get Critical, increase your damage by the hundreds. Pros: - One of the hardest hitters in the second job - Not very ks able - Have a wide option of stars - Never left out on a PQ as they are needed Cons: - Very Costly, Even as un-funded - Very boring using the skill over and over - Haste doesnt come till late 4x Build: Note: I have only one assassin, Which is in the 4x, So anything after that im not familiar with. 30- Claw Mastery 31- Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery(3) Critical Throw 32- Critical Throw, Critical Throw, Critical Throw (4) 33- Critical Throw, Critical Throw, Critical Throw (7) 34- Critical Throw, Critical Throw, Critical Throw (10) 35- Critical Throw, Critical Throw, Critical Throw (13) 36- Critical Throw, Critical Throw, Critical Throw (16) 37- Critical Throw, Critical Throw, Critical Throw (19) 38- Critical Throw, Critical Throw, Critical Throw (22) 39- Critical Throw, Critical Throw, Critical Throw (25) 40- Critical Throw, Critical Throw, Critical Throw (28) 41- Critical Throw, Critical Throw,(30) MAXED Haste (1) 42- Haste(2) Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery (5) 43- Booster, Booster, Booster (3) 44- Booster, Booster(5), Haste (2) 45- Haste, Haste, Haste (5) 46- Haste, Haste, Haste (8) 47- Haste, Haste, Haste (11) 48- Haste, Haste, Haste (14) 49- Haste, Haste, Haste (17) 50- Haste, Haste, Haste (20) MAXED 51- Booster, Booster, Booster (8) 52- Booster, Booster,(10) Endure (1) 53- Endure, Endure (3), Drain (1) 54- Drain, Drain, Drain (4) 55- Drain, Drain, Drain (7) 56- Drain, Drain, Drain (10) 57- Drain, Drain, Drain (13) 58- Drain, Drain, Drain (16) 59- Drain, Drain, Drain (19) 60- Drain, Drain, Drain (22) 61- Drain, Drain, Drain (25) 62- Drain, Drain, Drain (28) 63- Drain, Drain(MAXED) Claw Mastery(6) 64- Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery (9) 65- Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery (12) 66- Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery (15) 67- Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery (18) 68- Claw Mastery, Claw Mastery (MAXED) Endure (4) 69- Endure, Endure, Endure (7) 70- Booster, Booster, Booster (13) In the end, you will have Critical: MAXED Booster: Level 13 Haste: MAXED Drain: MAXED Claw Mastery: MAXED Endure: Level 7 Training Areas: Level 30-35: Evil Eyes, The ones that are in Sleepywood Ant Tunnel You can get, Your Level 40 armor here, Which saves you about 400k Level 35-40: You can either PQ, Or train. You have about a 40% Chance of getting into a PQ, So train. I recommend Teddie Bears, At Sky Terrace in Ludibirum. They drop Level 35 earings which are useful. 40-50: You can go to a few places now, Chronos are great, They drop tobi which is VERY useful. Or you can PQ and save loads of potions and a chance to get Napoleon Capes, Level 50 earings, and a good scroll. You may also go to Copper drakes, But they have a Spawn.50-60: Depending on how funded you, You can move to zombies around 55. If not, Regular Gollems look good around now. You can also try Cellions, or OPQ. 60-70: Zombies, Zombies, Zombies, Zombies. 'Nuff Said. Godly equips, or the suckiest Claw, ZOMBIEEES. Equipment: Level 30-40: I recommend your Pao set, still. It looks sexy, And with a red pilfer or something, you get a decent LUK bonus. If you trained at Evil eyes, you should have your level 40 armour. 40-50: Pao set still! Or, Your level 40 set. Pao Set+Pilfer+Kandyo=Win. Its a great combo. 50-60: Any color China set will do. The Blue and green are nice, but costly. Stick to red, or Orange/Brown if you find a cheap set, For a hat stick with your pilfer. 60-70: Erm, I stuck with my China, because looking at my stomach disgusted me. But, if you want level 60 armour is acceptable. Theres a quest that gives you a whole set for free. 30-70: Shoes. Black Snow shoes. They cost 15k In el nath. Once you have the money to scroll them with DEX, They're perfect with there 7 slots. They look secksy too. Weaponry: 30-40: Meba, Level 30 and 35 claws are rare, And hunting them just burns money, since monsters like Cold eyes drop them, and they come in large mobs. 40-43: A Averice, DO NOT 100% IT. It is a waste of money since your switching in 3 levels. 43-50: A Maple Kandyo. I suggest buying one now. A scroll 100% one can be about 1.5m, Or a clean one around 2m. They look awsome, and have a decent attack. 50-60: A Saphire Slain, Or dark. You may find a Blood Slain, Dont use it. If its 28 attack + Use it, and scroll it with 100%. Once you hit 60, and it has lets say 35 attack, you can re-sell for about 1.5m or so. 60-70: A Gig is needed. They look awsome, and are pretty cheap, Just 100%. Concerning Attack Gloves. Should you get one? No. They help sooo much, but they cost sooo MUCH. If you can find a 2 attack with like 0 slots, thats okay. But, around 6x you should be able to afford a 6 attack wg, Since prices dropped. Last Updated: 08-27-07 If I get enough comments, I'll continue to the Hermit Position. It is original
![]() You should use text formating to help the reading of your guide. Using bigger font, color, bold in the correct way should make it nice

quest whore...thats an interesting thought.
It's a good guide overall, although if you had...say...10hrs (?) to kill you could make it a lot more in depth. You should probably go into the quests, just to point out what's easy, fast, and gives good experience. |
