Well I've tried a lot of games and what I've come down to find is that I'm basically ADD
I can't stand anything of too long personally. I played WoW got a warlock to 55, too much grinding. Have 2 packs of GW, got tired of the PvP non stop. Really looking for anything that can mix and integrate PvE, PvP (and skill training is a bonus, things like woodcutting, fishing).BTW I do have a really nice computer, so give me even the most graphic intense &my comp will still run fine. Heres a list of games that I have played and got bored of so you dont waste a post on them WoW GW RO Voyage Century Rakion Gunz Runescape WC3 Trickster Maple Story Rappelz Grenado Esprit or however you spell it (tons more that i can't remember ATM) Any recommendations would be nice =]

Star Wars Galaxies, Lineage II, EverQuest II, Dungeons & Dragons Online, Neverwinter Nights 2, to name a few.
There's a new MMORPG in devlopment at the moment called AioN. The gameplay movies look great but it will be awhile before it is ready for beta testing. Last edited by ntrigg; 04-28-2007 at 03:01 PM. |

you sound just like me. apparently i cant make posts until the mods give an ok, but i made one though. I'd like to suggest City of Heroes, its by far the best MMO i've played I can safely say. Creating a costume is almost half the fun. If you like customization, you'll spend hours coming up with various costumes. and picking powers that work for you is fun too.
i may end up going back to it. i took a recently after i got to the max level. the best part about the game though, is that everyone is nice. I've played for over 9 months and only have 2 people on my ignore list. I played guild wars for a week and already have like 15 people on my ignore list. theres a crafting system coming out called Inventions. (you can make costume pieces, temp powers like guns, jetpacks ect, and power enhancements). Its easy to get into. I know it sounds like i work for the game, but i have nothing but good things to say about it. and saying that i needed a break after 9 months, coming from me, thats pretty good because i've played tons of MMOs and havent played any more than 3 months (except mu online private servers, but those get old fast) anyway, i dont have a link, but if you look around (google) you can probably find a free trial for city of heroes or city of villains. i recommend trying or buying both, but if you want one, i'd say villains since it has bases and stuff. but you get the features on the hero side if you have both. (both games are the same game, just different areas of game play and different ATs (classes.jobs) ) lol. i hope this was helpful. theres one thing i will say though. no matter what you choose, dont go with FF11, that game will frustrate you. its like when you play FF11 after hours of installing, you're like "omg....no wonder they dont give out free trials like other games do" anyway, City of Heroes is very different from anything i've ever played and i think you'll love it. heck after talking about it so much, i might start playing once school is out for the summer. or tommorrow. i would right now but i have too many exams to study for *sips red bull* |
