4chan is a image board network where people post images, and talk about them.
There is also world4ch which is part of the 4chan network, and that is just disscusions.

4chan, at times can be the best place, and at times the worse place.
There are many boards, something for everyone, but be warned.
Don't go into the Random board (/b/) unless you can handle some of the sickest things ever.
Infact, today you may want to stay away. Today is furry friday...

I'm not going to give link because of it's extream nature, but it's not hard at all to find.

Oh yea, and one last thing...
Never bad-mouth 4chan.
EVER.
Ever ever ever.

Last time someone on a forum did that, with-in 20 minutes of it being posted on /b/, there were over 1000 posts throughout the whole forum, done by tons and tons of 4chaners.
The forum in the end was closed down and compleatly re-made.
Don't ever bad-mouth it, or you will have damned us all.
