Don't blame me if the title doesn't make sense, the Dell PC's aren't actually at WWDC.
But yes, it's confirmed, "The Steve" has been confirmed this morning (by Apple) to be delivering one of his infamous Keynote speaches at WWDC in June. His last Keynote speech unveiled the iPhone, but I doubt this one will be as exciting. He will most likely be delivering more info on the phone which is about to be released to much fanfare, or why Leopard has been delayed, or the Macbook Pro Nano. *Cough* Shouldn't have said that. ![]() On a slightly less important note, everyone's favourite PC vendor, Dell, has confirmed that they will be selling computers preloaded with Ubuntu Linux. Machines will be available from $408 for an e-series box without a monitor. Four XPS machines will also have the option of pre-installed Linux, as well three e-series laptops. The announcement came after a survey of 100,000 people which found a huge majority in favour of offering Linux, or the fact that it will save Dell alot of money. Pricks. |
