'Tis been a while since I visited my GTA websites, especially the mod ones, but I still was a bit surprised to see how much the multiplayer modifications have evolved from being a simple lagfest of crashing into Pay-N-Sprays, to a (almost) bug free thirty gazillion player deathmatch.
MP Mods: Grand Theft Auto III (http://gtamp.com/gta3.php) Vice City (http://www.vicecitymultiplayer.com/) San Andreas (http://www.sa-mp.com/) Of course, there are MANY more, including the ever-so-popular Multi Theft Auto (http://mtavc.com/), but I suggest you try them all to see which one you find the most enjoyable. I tried SA-MP a while back in the early, early, early beta stages and was surprisingly stable, I even got a kill! Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas

If you went into Free MMORPGs you'd see that it's posted a fair bit on there...i think.
I've never actually seen a video, and i thought it'd be shit, but the one thing GTA games lacked is multiplayer, and now that I've seen the video, i know its possible. Good stuff here. |

You need to download version 1.0 to replace version 2...
I'm currently playing the multiplayer for SA-MP and loving it. Mostly going on the Valhalla Roleplaying server and actually roleplaying with gangs. Instead of DeathMatches join the Valhalla Server.
