I've just bought GuildWars + Guildwars Factions .....
What should i play ? gw or factions...

I ve never played gw before .... so sorry if this is a noob question... thnx

If you really want to get into the story line, play Prophecies (normal Guild Wars).

i HIGHLY recommend playing the first one, prophecies, only because you'll receive a heads up on gameplay, its stable with population, you'll get the original storyline. i think prophecies is the best.

I second this. And of course, Prophecies gives free skills as quest rewards whereas Factions (and to a lesser extent, Nightfall) forces you to buy skills.

On one hand, experienced players appreciate this mechanic because you can just choose which skill you'll need and ignore everything else.

On the other hand, new players will be happy with the free skills given in Prophecies, as they'll have a good pool of skills to experiment builds with, and will come in handy for setting up Heroes' skillbars in either Nightfall and/or Eye of the North.

if u want a very deep story line and a very stable decent game that is heavy story play prophicies ..

if u want fast pvp action with a non connected in a sence story line play factions

Factions has assassin and soul keeper or something cant remeber the name

i would advise prophicies first then when u get board play factions
then wait for eye of the north for the end of prophicies

Prophecies: Storyline and more newbfriendly
Factions: Pvp based and rushes you to lvl 20 as fast as possible, wich you should take your time for.
