Is silkroad that fun? pros...cons?

pros : it's a unique, sorta, game. and there's only three main builds. (making it easier.) if you like to grindcore, it's your kind of game. PvP is a given on this game. wasd movement~

cons : skills need some work, laggy movement, no jumps :T

none the less, worth a try.

It seemed alright when I played it, the only problem was all the servers were completely full every time I'd try to log on took me about 6 hours one day to get logged on.

- A nice oriental style,wich is nice in the game.
- Great graphics.
- cool weapons,armors and so on.

- Lag(terribly for many people)

Definatly worth a try, the only reason I quit once was because its was like a hacker heaven, but Joymax are getting themselves sorted.
The only con realy is trying to get in, its too damn full.

well, i like the graphic and the fighting-styles. Another thing is that u can combine skills which is more fun (in my opinion). There is no fixed class or skills.

The game doesn't lag much to me, actually.

Two things that bother me the most is full server all the time, cant log in >_< and the game is sooooo grindy!!!!

-So its up to you to decide if u like it or not.

Silkroad online... yeah... it's an oriental culture based game.... and it's not special... not only that... but the gm's ignore you every single time.. there is live do too heavy trafic... the graphics is crappy (in comparation with other mmorpg like lineage2, metin2, voyage cenutury, etc). But.. it's strong point is the pvp sistem.... Ever the less... it's worth a try... but only if you have strong nerves

I never lag, and the framerate only slows a tiny bit when I turn it up to high. Other than that, middle runs as smooth as a hot knife through butter! I can really always log in on Alexander server. The grind isn't so bad yet, but this game is good. I might even consider buying Silk to get an EXP card thing... Pretty cool game! But if you don't have a new computer, don't try it. I just got this computer last month maybe, and the only thing that isn't good about it is the graphics card. I want a eVGA e-GeForce 8600 GTS for christmas... ^.^"
