So today my father came up to me and flat out asked me if I would want an XBOX 360 or a PS3. He got a bit extra money for doing a side job and wants to spend some of it on one of these two systems. I can't decide which console I want. The 360 is going to have Blue Dragon being released in August, and that looks flat out amazing. At the same time, the PS3 will be having FF XIII, which is really what I want. I have heard thoug that the exclusity of the game itself isn't set in ston, and it may venture over to the 360. Personally, I'm an avid RPGer, and love those type of games.

With this being said, which do you think I should choose?

The exclusivity of the original FF13 (one that will matter the most to basically all Final Fantasy fans) belongs to the PS3 and that console only. Square had a party yesterday and made many announcements to new games developing for the PS3. For example a new Star Ocean. WOOT. Also White Knight looks amazing developed by level 5- (second best RPG creator

I suggest getting the PS3 for every genre unless your a hardcore shooter fan. (even though FPS games for PS3 are just as good) Its depressing how Halo 3 is turning out.. -.-

It may be a quality game, but having 'advanced' mechanics with a slight graphic increase just doesn't appeal to me.

Of course I will still get it though

Well you got a few exclusives for the PS3. But then you got a lot more exclusives for the Xbox 360.

Xbox 360: Halo 3, Fable 2, Gears of War, Viva Pinyata, Guitar Hero II, Elder Scrolls IV, Rainbow Six,
PS3: Resistance, Elder Scrolls, Tekken 5, Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Atm Ps3 doesn't have many exclusives, so I'd recommend the Xbox 360 right now. Who knows though the PS3 might come back with a bunch of exclusives next year, maybe you should wait and find out. Right now though the bet choice in my opinion is Xbox 360.

I'm having good fun with the 360's current lineup. Its controller is mad comfortable.

Plus a bunch of Japanese RPGs waiting for a US release.

(Bolded games are Exclusive to the PS3)

You Have a very wide range of games coming out in late Spring- early Summer plus an assload of games in Q3-Q4.

I'd get a PS3 if you want a great blend of every genre.

BTW: Get Condemned 2: Bloodshot...the first one was nothing but awesome.

I'm a 360 lover but if you want RPG's I highly suggest you to get a playstation 3. But if you like shooters then u need a 360 xD. Well have fun on what you pick.
