Default Kalonline client.exe problem?

When I click on Kalonline.exe it runs fine and comes up with the update menu and updates. However, when I click start game or game options the process engine.exe runs for a little bit then exits itself without coming up with anything. I tried sending this to a GM but this was the reply i got:

"GM Reply

Hello.

This is KalOnline.

The problem is occured the game client.

So uninstall the KalOnline and delete the files into folder perfectly.

And then please download the game client and reinstall.

Sometimes this problem can be occured by your graphic driver & directX

So please download the graphic driver & directX lately and reinstall it.

Thanks a lot."

The problem I sent in was:

"When I start Kalonline.exe, it comes up with the regular menu but when i click start game, nothing happens. Engine.exe will seem to run for a little bit but then close itself."

I tried everything they listed here before I contacted a GM, but none of it worked.
