Theres always this little debate on whether gettin a 360 or a PS3.
If your a person who thinks more of money, than of a high quality product get a 360. Its an overall great system. If money ain't much of a problem to you, get a PS3. Its the total package. |

ps3 has nothing, overpriced, no backwards compatible chip, and no games that are truly great. God of War 2 was made for PS2 for 1 reason, they want to make money because they know that nobody is buyin ps3s.
360 has great graphics and can still improve. Gears of War is just the begining. Another Gears of War is in the making and should be another blockbuster game. PS3 has alot of power but will never be able to use it all and the gameplay for their games suck. They've got nothing like gears of war. |

PS3 has backwards capability, GG. Nobody is buying PS3s? Oh cmon, what kinda statement is that. What were the lines when it first launch for? Free pizza and blow jobs? Yeah, some people were just in it for the big bucks on Ebay. But the people who actually bought it for such a price, they wanted the system. They have it, the PS3 is selling, thats the fact, GG. The gameplay sucks? Wait what? Did Resistance suck? I have it, the gameplay is satisfying and the PS3 shows what it can do when it comes to graphics. When Tecmo and The Ninja Team were creating Ninja Gaiden devs for 360s and PS3s; The 360s 'exploded', the PS3s just 'smoked', a real story. GOOGLE IT. That shows the power of a PS3, and what less power the 360 has. The 360 will not be able to improve as much as the PS3 can/could. It does not have the enough DVD space for such variety, and greatness in a game. The Blu-Ray disc leaves PLENTY of room to improve. |

Eh, you got to kind of ignore people like that Jakuza. They just spout shit out of thier *** and claim it as fact.
![]() Some people don't do research and go on what thier friends told them, or what they get from Bias websites. Now I may despise xbox for reasons that I don't even know, but the fact remains that it is a solid system... can't deny that. The PS3 though is a far more powerful system and capable of a lot more. I'm pretty sure that all PSX-PS2 games are playable on the PS3 minus a few grahpical glitches. What makes the PS3 really great is its OS, XMB, which means that users can got constant firmware updates and increase performance/stability on thier PS3 or add even more gizmos. Not to mention that I believe any HDD is usable on a PS3. So no need to go and buy a 180, 120gb hdd like the xbox, although don't quote me on that one. Some people fon't like the idea of Home, but I think it looks really interesting. Not to mention the fact that it will be free. I always thought it would be cool to invite a whole bunch of friends to my "virtual house" and start playing a movie from my HDD and we all watch it. Home looks to have a lot of features and a lot of room to grow... and its FREEE ![]() Microsoft has always been a money hungry company, as all companies are, but imho Sony has always given you the "best bang for you buck". The PS3 does cost a lot more than other consoles, but at the same time also offers a lot more. And as for graphics, like I stated above. A game designed for 360 and ported to PS3 won't look good... In order for a game to look good on both system it needs to have 2 different versions designed at the same time, or an engine compatable with both consoles. thats just one of the problems dev's face when developing multi-platform games though. |
