It's not confirmed, but I have read articles supporting a GoW port. It's not as unlikely as many of you think.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do so,if Microsoft ported Lost Planet to the PC(wich isn't really close to Gears' sucess),they'll probably do the same whit Gears,but it'll probably require an uber-comp,I'll stick whit my 360,meh.I prefer to play on consoles anyway.

God this is horrible its like HDR intensified everything's blurry white.

just because LP runs like shit on PCs doesn't mean PCs can't handle 360 graphics, it simply means the devs doesn't know how to optimize their game, or haven't done it yet. Just like Halo 1 for the PC, LP will probably run unreasonably slow for it's graphics compared to games that are developed first on the PC.

I played this maxed out on DX9.

Frame rate was 41 average for Snow and average of 31 for Cave.

Pentium D 2.8Ghz dual core overclocked to 3.30Ghz
8800GTS 320MB.
2GB DDR2 RAM.

Nice grammar.... Anyways Common sense? Epic isn't even working on a gears of war 2 yet.... I'm pretty sure right now they are just working on Unreal Tournament 3 and Gears of war (the original).

Also the PC version of Lost Planet you might have to pay for also. Since Microsoft is making Live on the PC. Like on halo 2 vista I'm pretty sure you have to pay.

ok ... stop lying. GoW for PC has been anounced about a month ago, it will come for pc, wether you like it or not.

first off: ever heard of keyboard/mouse support? in the worst case, they'll make it exclusively for controllers (and yes, an Xbox 360 controller works for pc) that argument is plain rubbish

secondly: wow, that is absolutely retarted, sorry. Crysis outbests GoW significantly, are you implying that no one will be able to run that one too?
and here is the biggest diffirence, a PC will ALWAYS be stronger than a console. another utterly useless argument

this is exactly why most ported games have incredibly sucky framerates. Due to engine engine optimisation, not because of the engine being to heavy ...
If they tweaked their engine for PC you'll probably have better fps than on an X360.

thirdly: what the hell? how is a sequel relevant for a pc version? they make a pc version simply because of its succes on he X360, and frankly unlike you might think, not everyone has an X360.

About Lost Planet, i don't think the multiplayer is payed. Since windows Live is only for vista, Lost Planet can also be run on an XP system (which doesn't use Windows Live ofc). So i reckon that's a safe zone, don't worry
