Default New here

Hey, I'm downloading the game now.

So I was reading the website, and I was wondering what a good team would be.

I was thinking

1)Fighter (with a defensive stance, to protect weaker members)
2)Wizard (with an offencive stance, to deal out the pain)
3) and finally a Scout (for healing and whatnot)

Anyone tried this combo before? Positives/ negaitves? Thanks.

Having a fighter on a defensive stance only helps the fighter survive. I dont see how you can protect your wiz and scout if they get targeted, its not like you can make your enemy shift their target to the fighter. I'm not saying its a bad combination, because if the enemy does target you're fighter, you have some time to heal him/her and attack with the wizard, just dont attempt to "protect" the others.

Have you actually played the game? I havent, but i've read they have a skill called "provoke" that makes monsters only attack the fighter.

Wrong Saaad..

As a matter of fact, you can make them switch target to the fighter, and that is extremely effective at mid-higher levels having a defensive fighter, using his "Provoke" skill and having the wiz nuke the hell out of them while the fighter tanks.

Well, i'm level 11 on my fighter / wiz / scout.

Going good, really enjoying the game. But I was wondering if theres a shop somewhere in the first city where you can buy armor and weapons? I couldn't find one, but I managed to find the stance shop.

The shops are on the west side of the city. Namely, the NPCs Claude (fighter/scout gear), Najib Sharif (musketeer gear) and a couple of other NPCs around them (a magic merchant (wiz/elementalist gear)..a blacksmith and Idge i think).

EDIT: and Andre Janzuer sells costumes and poses
