I don't know why you want facial hair so much...Sure, it's kind of cool the first week. But then it gets to be a hassle shaving everyday.

Other than that, as people have said here, it is purely genetic. I have some friends who I think are Irish descent, and one of them started getting hair on his chin when he was like 15.

Myself, I'm Russian, and I haven't had to start shaving until maybe a couple of months ago (I'm 17 now).

It is true, however... shave as soon as you see hair, and it will grow back thicker, and faster.

That can be true but a friend of mine has enterd puberty no decent or genetics of a bearded family ..he has got a seriously hairy chin and hes 15

its all to do with puberty and can be affected by genes not purely dna
