It happens to all of us eventually: you might lag out; you might get knocked off your ornitho; or you might just get critical-hit by a boss mob. And then you die! Don't worry about it, I'm about to school your Dungeon Party on how rescues work.
1) We need two volunteers - preferably a tank and a cleric; but anyone will do in a pinch, so long as at least one of you can take a few hits from the mobs. Pro tip: healing scrolls and potions might come in handy in a second 2) The two volunteers need to be given the best movement speed and defense buffs your party can afford. Whether this comes from a kahuna, cleric or potions doesn't matter. 3) The two volunteers now need to run towards their downed comrade, one volunteer slightly ahead of the other. The volunteer in the lead will be picking up all the aggro and kiting the mobs. This is a good thing! Like I said, healing potions and scrolls might come in handy at this point. 4) Once they reach the downed comrade, the volunteer behind STOPS and the volunteer in the lead KEEPS RUNNING! This is vitally important - the idea here is to clear the area of aggro and give the second volunteer space to work. 5) The kiting volunteer must NEVER EVER LOG (unless something goes horribly wrong. we don't want to have to retrieve two corpses). 6) Second volunteer now has time and space to RESURRECT and HEAL the downed comrade. Ideally this will involve the use of the cleric's resurrect skill, as this will return a portion of the lost XP to the person who died. 7) All three members RUN LIKE HELL back towards the Dungeon Party, or towards the next corpse if there are more than one.
