The Avatar Online is to be a MMORPG based off of the popular Nick show "Avatar: The Last AirBender. I am looking for spriters, coders/programmers, Mappers, and Those good with Sfx. The game is in development and when started was being made in Rmxp and coded in Rgss. We are currently deciding whether or not to convert over to VB ( I was considering Mirage, the Haf and Now Vbgore looks best to achieve the RO(Ragnarok Online) look)

it has potential at least it's unique good luck with your project

but have you asked nickelodeon for permission to make the game ? if not this is known as copyright infringement

Actually I can make a non-commercial fan-based game. I however have asked nick via many emails for rights to do so. Later I discovered that I could make the game as long as it doesn't profit me any.

Im a huge fan of The Avatar..

But let me just warn you, not trying ask you to stop doing this, its not my problem if you get sued or anything anyway. lol.

Copyrights don't work that way, as long as you do this, you are performing copyright infringement. It is simply a common misunderstanding that you can get away with everything just because you don't charge for it. I hope you get the license to make the game from Nickelodeon, i'd love to see this game made.

If you need help doing graphics I dont mind doing some freelance, you'll probably the one who gets in trouble if you make this game, not me.

I thought the same before discussing this with different sources. I assure you everything is perfectly legal. If it will make many sleep bettert to know, I have requested rights under the condition that it remains non-commercial and Fan Made.

We are definately gonna be f2p. New domain name is www.elemental-nations.net We are in the process of setting up our official site as well as a more professional forum.
