Effective April 18, 2007, Philippine Rose Online will now be FREE-TO-PLAY! Woot!
As per official statement from the pROSE team:

We are pleased to announce that starting April 18, 2007, Rose Online will be FREE-TO-PLAY until further notice. You can now enjoy playing Rose Online without having to pay for any subscription fees! And if you’re looking to improve your level of gameplay and stand out from the rest, try out the bigger and better Junon Polis Item Mall! Watch out for the new items at our special introductory prices!
The decision to go Free to Play is an experimental setup in order to determine the viability of the free to play business model. This is a measure we are taking so that hopefully we do not suffer the same fate as that of kRose. jRose has already announced that they are continuing operations and we are planning to do the same, pending our negotiations with the developer and the result of this experiment with free to play. We hope you will show us your support.
Starting April 18, 2007, those with remaining subscription time will be credited MOONIES in their account (conversion rates will be posted later).
