Why, you say? More games? Well thats pretty obvious, you know. The 360 has been out for nearly 1 and a half years now, and the PS3? Only 7 months. I do agree with your Xbox Live statement, in 1 case; It has a better interface. But, PS3's is completely free compared to what you gotta pay monthly\yearly for it. Nothing beats the cost of jack squat, am I right? I have tryed both console controllers, actually. Im happy that Microsoft switched it around a bit and made it more comfortable but, i've been using Sony's controller scheme for what... 9 years now? I think im used to them. Are you sure about Microsoft's fanbase compared to Sony's? Up in Japan, alot of people don't really trust Microsoft, it being an American company. |

Ok, I didn't read every reply here, but the report is BS. Wanna know why? Check out this post from ages ago.
Breaking news from 2007! http://forums.xbox.com/12756627/ShowPost.aspx Breaking news from 2003! http://insider.ign.com/teasers/388/388211.html Wow. B.S. And for a side by side comparison: IGN.com - March 5, 2003 At the end of 2001, one of the biggest titles to be released for any of the current generation consoles was Metal Gear Solid 2. As the follow up to the blockbuster smash hit PSX title Metal Gear Solid, it went on to sell extremely well and be played by many PS2 fans. However, sole owners of GameCube and Xbox would have to do without it. Fortunately, Konami wasn't completely blind to the fact that more gamers deserved to play the epic title, and it released Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance for the Xbox a year later in November 2002. This came with new content additions including VR missions and other bonus gameplay like Snake Tales, which lets you go on more objective-based missions -- some quite lengthy. So, there's no question that Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance comes packed with more content than the original MGS2 on PS2. This post - 2007 At the end of 2007, one of the biggest titles to be released for any of the current generation consoles is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. As the follow up to the blockbuster smash hit PS2 title Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, it will problably sell extremely well and be played by many PS3 fans. However, sole owners of Wii and Xbox 360 would have to do without it. Fortunately, Konami isn?t completely blind to the fact that more gamers deserve to play this epic title, and it is now confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for the Xbox 360 will launch a year later in November 2008. It will come with new content additions including VR missions and other bonus gameplay like Snake Tales, which lets you go on more objective-based missions -- some quite lengthy. So, there's no question that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for the Xbox 360 comes packed with more content than the original PS3-version.

You guys are tripping. The PS3s ability to launch media servers beats Wii and 360 hands down. **** Home. **** Final Fantasy. **** Little Big Planet. This is the now. I'll wait till fall for the rest but right now, PS3 has the upperhand as far as features. Metal Gear Solid was fun... on the PS1. Now it's just played out. I'm sure new generation gamers will like it but as of now, it's pretty much the same as the older versions.
