Anyways... umm.. watch hunter x hunter, or really.. thats the only one I can think of with shyt shooting from their hands. Oh.. naruto of course..

Kind of like Dbz .. but no sayan powers but it's funny and creative ideas..and decent storyline i recommand u to watch it..

Well,it doesn't remind me DBZ much,it's a big hit though.I don't know how is the anime,but the manga is great.

In terms of "BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!! BAAAAAAAANG!!!! CRAAAAAASH!!!!",
"MY POWER LEVEL IS HIGHER THAN YOURS JOOO DIE!!!!!!!!!!" and "FLASHING LIGHT", yea this is pretty much similar to dragonball. Replace unarmed fighting with swords, replace different planets with spirit-realm, and you're pretty much there.
