It's a tv show and comparing it to another tv show is just retarded. It comes down to personal preference. From what you said in your last comment it just seems as if you have never watched past episode 20.

People compare the two because they are as far as I know, the two most popular series in Shonen Jump, meaning they are among the most popular around. They're both very well known, and tend to have people go one way or the other. (ex: I hate abc series, but love xyz). There aren't a lot of middle-grounders, so people tend to be opinionated about it.

It's pretty much like comparing EQ2 and WoW, people just like to argue about it, but most don't actually give a crap.

As for One Piece.. I dunno, not a big fan, but read a decent amount of it. I think it has a lot of white/black opinions out there. It's pretty much equal in popularity to Bleach/Naruto, but I'd guess that it avoids comparision because it's on different subject matter. Swords, ghosts and ninjas are fairly similar, while pirates don't have a tremendous amount in common with those. (well.. swords, but they're handled differently than Bleach does)

lol u got a point about like comparing eq2 and wow xD i like both, and the same goes for the anime.

as for one piece, i watched all 379 episodes so far and i loved it for the most parts, it can be so unbelevable violent at times, but also very childish sadly. specially the latest episodes turn me down, it goes to slow paced and all the screaming/yelling/crying starts to anoy me lol
