One very obvious change-
There is no more birth island, when you first play the game with a character, you're already in adventure's plain.
Changing weapons/clothing whatsoever REMOVES ALL POSITIVE BUFF on you. (not sure about negative buffs)
Getting on/off carts REMOVES ALL POSITIVE BUFF on you. (not sure about negative buffs)
