Well, here's my attempt at clearing up some of the newbie questions, feel free to add questions or make corrections:
Does it matter which character model I pick at the start? ANS: Absolutely not, all characters are equally capable of all skills in the game. Choose whichever model you like the look of. Can i change weapons/clothing later? ANS: You are not restricted to the weapon or clothes you choose at the start, you can change which weapon/clothing you use later. Which weapon is good for what? ANS: Blades and Swords have the same set of skills. They attack fast, but to moderately low damage. Blades compared with Swords have a higher physical damage, but lower Magic damage, so blades are for physical characters, while swords are for mental characters. Glaives (thats the correct spelling) and spears have the highest damages, but they attack slow. Compared to Spears, Glaives have higher physical damage, and lower magical damage, so Glaives are for physical type characters, Spears are for mental type. Bows are the only ranged weapon, they have medium damage in both physical and magical damage, and have medium attack rate. What are the differences between the different types of clothing? ANS: Armor has high physical defence, but low magical defence. Protector has medium physical defence, and medium magical defence, and adds 10% moving speed, and lowers skill mp costs by 10%. Garments have low physical defence, high magical defence, and adds 20% moving speed, and lowers skill mp cost by 20%. How do I raise Skills? ANS:Press 's' to bring up the skill menu. There you will see a "Weapon" tab and a "Force" tab. Under the weapon tab, there are Bicheon, Heuksal and Pacheon. Bicheon is for Blades/swords. Heuksal is for Glaives/spears and Pacheon is for Bows. To get a skill, you must first raise the mastery of the corresponding tree. For example, to get the first bow skill, you must raise Pacheon to lvl 5. Then the skill Anti-Devil bow will become available for you to raise. Raising it to lvl 1 makes you learn the skill. You should read carefully the requirements for each skill in the skill description in the game. Under Force Tab, you'll have 4 magic trees, Cold, Lightning, Fire and Force(which is healing). Raising skills for this is just like raising skills for a weapon tree. Raising Skills and Masteries will require sp. The maximum you can raise a mastery is to the same level as you're character is. IE: If you're level 6, the highest you can raise any one mastery is level 6. What is SP? ANS: When you fight a monster, with exp(which raises your level) you will get a certain amount of skill exp. When you get a total of 400skill exp (i think its 400), you will get 1 sp. How do i get more Skill EXP/What is SP farming? ANS:The amount of exp and skill exp you get when you kill a monster depends on the level of your highest mastery. The lower the level of your highest mastery, the less exp you will get, but the more skill exp you will get. The most skill exp you can get( and the least exp) is if the level of your highest mastery is 9 below your level. Any larger gap will result in the same ratio of exp and skill exp. Keeping you're mastery low just to get more SP (and hence leveling slowly) is called SP farming. When can i ride a horse? ANS: The first horse you can ride is at level 10. It's called the red horse, and lets you move faster. It is NOT permanent. It'll disapear as soon as you right click the dismount or terminate button. You can get better horses at lvl 30, 45 and so on. How does a PVP cape work/where do i get one? ANS: You can wear a PVP cape at level 10. You can buy one from the accesory trader and clicking on the goods tab (they cost 500 gold, DO NOT buy from the scamming players selling it for 3k+, they cannot make you fly or be invisible). The capes let you fight anyone thats not wearing the same colour cape, without consequence, you dont lose exp when you die, and you wont have to teleport back to town, you can spawn back up in the same spot. NOTE: the orange cape (Prodigy cape) lets you fight all colours including orange itself. Why does it lag/Why cant i get into a server? ANS: Well, the servers are in Korea, so you may have a slow connection to the server. But even then, the game itself isn't very laggy, theres just a lot of people playing it. You'll have trouble getting in at the weekends, and even if you do, it will lag because there are so many people playing at the same time. Not really Joymax's fault...mostly just players abusing the game, such as having multiple accounts logged in, or using illegal programs.
