The following list shows random RPG's and MMORPG's for Xbox and the Online/PC) Please comment if you have questions/objections/ or agreements on any of the following. NOTE: I am not here to get into a arguement about any of the games here, I just want your input. Also, I've listed the companies that the games came from in case you may want to look up other games they may have made. Also please comment if this thread has been helpful.
WARNING Spoilers Xbox RPG's/MMORPG's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KotOR) About the game: It is four thousand years before the Galatic Empire and hundreds of Jedi Knights have fallen in battle aganist the ruthless Sith. You play the role of a Republic solider, under the command of the Jedi Bastila. You must become a Jedi and master the Force and chose your fate in the galaxy. The game allows you to become a heroic Jedi Knight or a evil Sith Lord. You have a large array of weapons, Force powers, feats (abilities), and strategies to fight your enemies. The story line is very interesting and has at least 7 HUGE shockers and many many many smaller ones. The game is a RPG, so hits and misses are calculated through an attribute and skills system. Feats are back up by the attributes and so are skills. (I will not list them all now but I may if requested.) The combat is real time, but you can pause in the middle of combat and plan out attacks and ready your allies and yourselves next actions. The game got a 5 out of 5 on the TV show X-Play and in my opinion, it gets a 5 out of 5. Graphics get a 4 outa 5. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords About the game: A real barrell of fun for those that have play KotOR and enjoyed it. This time you play as a Exiled Jedi Knight who has losted his/her connection to the Force. As you clinge to the Force with help of the strange Jedi like woman Kreia, you must learn the ways of the Jedi...or the Sith, to survive the attacks of the Sith Lords. The game has a more dark story line then the first one, and, if you thought the first game had MEGA shockers then you will surprised. I love this game greatly, but to enjoy it at its fullest you have to know Star Wars and have played the first KotOR. This one is even better because you can train your own allies and companions into Jedi, or Sith. Also graphics get a 4 out of 5 NOTE: The listed games reviews above, KotOR1 and 2, are missing alot of data that you might want to know. Of course I left it out so I would not spoil to much but if you want more just comment and ask. I will post more Xbox games later, if you already have these games and want to review them on this thread then feel free to. The Elder Scrolls lll: Morrowind The Elder Scrolls lV: Oblivion (Xbox 360 and PC) Phanstasy Star Universe (Xbox 360) Online Games RuneScape: I personally used to like the game alot. Until the game just didn't go with my liking. Trust me, I am level 70 but I really don't enjoy it that much anymore. The training gets to hard when you get your skills to 50. Money is hard as hell to make. The graphics lag, and don't look good. The music decides what its going to play and when its going to play. The game really does care weather you are level 60 in full rune fighting a level 40 in full mith. You have to high of a chance of dieing if your health goes down freaken low or even a little above middle. Scams and hacks are everywhere. "Noob" is the favorite word of geeks, nerds, and 40 year old gay guys that live there moms and have no wife or job, that think they are better than you because they are "cool" and they are level 60 or higher and your "newbish." Attention all geeks that do this kinda stuff: WE DONT CARE. Just kill your dragon and STFU loser, because you have a low chance of making it anywhere in your life if thats all you do. AdventureQuest: Put a poor combat system, mix it with a stupid transex(you can pick its look but not a gender) charater, that makes stupid messed up comments on every subject, and a bunch of stupid monsters and quest, and you've got AdventureQuest. Well I don't want to bear down on it but, come on! The weapons can look pretty stupid, and whats up with a level 35 weapon that cost 2000 gp, doing less damage then level 15 weapon that is 500 gp? The quest can be good and bad. But the Guardian Membership is what ticks me off. Every thing is based around them trying to get you to become on, you know? I still play though, its ok but they need music and to get any speed to have to put the graphics down. 2 out of 5 The Ninja RPG: Not the best MMORPG in the world. Its text based and you will like it if you like Naruto. I enjoy it but the overall review I'd give is 2.5 out of 5. Try it out yourself if your interested. If you really need somone to explain somthing about it just comment and ask my to post more. Its ok though. More to come Please Comment |
