hey guys, I'm a level 16 mage rite now, what should i be? i can't decide, should i be a fire mage or a cleric?

it's really up to you
fire arrow does the most damage out of all the 2nd job mage skills
cleric:they level very fast but burn pots like hell

Clerics are REALLY boring until you get holy arrow which is at like level 40, but guess what it'll be useless till like lvl 45 or 50, yes they have cure but only like what 3 or 4 different undead that you can actually kill till your a higher level.

Fires are okay but then again no one really uses em that much to get to a high level because they're one of the weakest mages at the 3rd job.

Ice/lighting is okay because it's easy to level, as long as your patient. Lightning bolt sucks until it's maxed and ice is good but only hits one target.

I find cleric is hard to train.. but i prefer ice mage, in my opinion.

Do not choose firemage unless you have hours a day to spend, its very difficult I dont even touch my level 33 Fire Mage due to the amount of time it takes.

Clerics have a hard time from having only 1 real attack (magic claw) for a long time, and Holy Arrow isnt that great either.

In the long run
If you have lots of time- Fire Wizard (try going poison first its fun)
If you have patience(not time but patience from boredom) - Cleric
If you have money/friends/ little time - Ice/lightning (try lightning first)

you should pick which ever is funnest for you , if you like power go fire mage, if you want to heal and b wanted in parties and such go cleric
