wtf is wrong wit my comp

I want to play counter-strike source cuz my friends play it, right?
So i install steam, buy cs source, and dl it.
I join a server and realize i get like 35 FUCKING FPS
This happens with all other servers too.
It seems to go even lower at certain areas of certain maps depending on what im looking at.

My System Specs:
Windows XP Pro
Intel Core 2 CPU 6300 1.86GHz
1014 MB RAM
DirectX 9.0c
Intel G965 Express Graphics Card 256MB

wtf is wrong with my comp
wtf do i do to make my fps PLAYABLE

try changing the graphics renderer from opengl to direct 3d. that seemed to help for me.

since i noticed u had an Intel® graphics acellerator id sugest you to buy an new one
Intel is just for busness purposes only
but ok id sugest an Nvidia Geforce card aslong its better than a 6200A (wich i got its fine but outdated)
uhm but Valve is cooperating with ati now and u can get HLDM2 for free when u got an ATI radeon videocard

its your graphics cards totally...
get a better one, i suggest a nvidia 7600gs or 7900gs... or if you got the money get the 8800GTX

You will need to buy a graphics card. You currently have an integrated intel chip on your motherboard which is unfit for running the source engine.

PEOPLE EVERYTHING ABOVE 17 fps is playable since 17fps is the minimum fps to play an game fluentlyishso stop whining just buy an ati radeon card and get 2 games for free hush now shut the topic i dont want this to be an flamewar!
