Protection spells shine against physical attackers. I've lately begun to bring a prot monk hero more than a healing monk hero, as the henchman monk can heal quite adequately as long as you don't overextend yourself. As spears are ranged attacks, the warrior shouts "Shields Up!" or "Watch Yourself!" can be handy too, so will the water ele hex Blurred Vision. Consider investing a bit of your extra points into Water Magic for that. In short: bring skills, spells, hexes that would reduce their melee and ranged effectiveness: blind, weakness, etc. Necro Minion masters can help too, what with your minions clustering around the dervish djinns and dying... at least it won't be you or your heroes ![]() Important: the Awakened Cavalier (paragons) can be quite annoying because they resurrect their companions, aside from the Awakened Acolytes (monks). You'll just need to be aware and interrupt/kill them before they bring back their friends. EDIT: didn't know you were referring to Hard Mode, as you didn't post it in the first thread. Although I've only vanquished the Poisoned Outcrops, but they sure have those annoying paragons and dervishes Same tips as above.

Don't be afraid to experiment. Check their attacks/ skillbars and bring specific counters. And good luck! |
