1)you need to be creative

2) you need to be willing to learn the skill of "graphic design" not sig making as everyone precieves it.

3) and photoshop

You could go to school for it or just read tuts for PS

Or continue to practice until you learn how to utilize the different tools in whatever program you're using to the fullest.
