Hopefully they'll make GW2 in such a way that higher levels get you diminishing returns: in that there will only be minimal advantage when you get to higher levels. Won't turn off those who dislike grind, and still be incentive enough for those who want to show off a high level number as their achievement.
I've gotten Eye of the North already, and so far I like it. The enemies now are dual-profession just like us. I've seen necro/rit, war/ele, mo/me, me/mo, ele/mo.... fun times, as you're watching out for those at the backlines to keep them from ressing their fallen companions ![]() Some people are put off by the title grind that's appeared, but it feels to me more like Sunspear title rank, in that while playing the game normally you can reach a decent enough level. Playing normally, you can get to level 4 of any title (asura, vanguard, deldrimor, norn). Level 3 title unlocks you access to consumables, while level 5 gives access to armor. Got my Norn title to level 5 (for armor) in a week of playing the quests and "vanquishing" and enemy-rich area 2 or 3 times. No real incentive for me to max these titles yet anyway, and i'm not too keen on getting the other areas' armor. And as there's still no Hard Mode yet, it will be a bit difficult to max the titles. |

There aren't that many unique mmos out there any more. i meen, they're all click, wait, click, wait, get called somthing, buy an item, click wait, click wait... Anyway, GW2 is compleatly different than any mmo out there. I meen, practicaly real time gameply( though not like RYL), good graphicts, events( eample, walk through woods, c a dragon. if u help ward him off, locals give u money, if not, the dragon comes down and breaks a bridge u need to cross to reach your adjective. then u have to find woodsmen to rebuild it before you can go on.) plus, nomonthly fees, decent graphics( suposibaly) and tons of classes( id u coun combinations.
in summary... if you're looking for a game like guild wars, look ells were. If you're looking for an Awsome MMO expearience, it sounds like you'll find it in GW 2. *stillness goes to one clap then slowly forms into rouring aplaus*

![]() Anyhoo.... Do you think ArenaNet could claim the game is "skill based" if the game has a rather high max level? A level 100's skills would do far more damage than a level 30's skills. And higher levels would have way better armour, more skills to choose from. Not to mention a high Health/Energy count. If ArenaNet made the game like every other MMO out there, do you think it would do very well? Most people are drawn to GW because of it's originality. If it lost it's originality, it would lose most of it's player-base, too.

I agree with recent topic most games are click and wait for example WoW hey im waiting for a team to an instance wtf they all left. Arena.net will think differently didnt they mention it should be heroes would be available with your char in GW2? Im not positive but im certain Ive read it.. I hope there will be a max level, unlimited level cap sounds to dull dont wanna run around and kill mobs and I hope they still keep Heroes Ascent, Halls of Heroes, FoW, UW etc.
For what im guessing it would be more interactive more reality in it for ex the dragon someone mentioned that would destroy a bridge and woodsmen needs to repair it. |

Well I hope that you will be able to reach a higher level, I'd been playing GW for less than a week and I was already lv14, when you look at other MMO's such as SWG where you can get to lv90it's slightly dissapointing. I also hope they add another feature like many other MMO's and RPG's, alongside choosing your class I think there should be other race's added to the game. But no matter what happens I will most probably buy GW2 as I pretty much buy and play any MMO I can get my hands on, and I tend to go for the one's either created by a company that have made a previous game I have played or it is a sequel to one I have played and enjoyed before.
